Hello Parents and Childminders

I am firstly looking for a part time role as a Nanny or Babysitter.
I also myself require a childminder so I can take on a new Nanny role.
My child is 15 months old and she will require a quiet childminder's setting 2 days a week maybe 3.

For the Parents: Here is my background.
I have been a Qualified Child carer for over 20 years and a Nanny for 13 years.
I have Nannied in the UK for 6 families with babies from 5 to 12 months old.

I thoroughly enjoy looking after children as I see it as such a rewarding job.
Providing a stimulating, learning and fun environment. Most of my experience has been with around the 0-4 years age group but I also have recently had experience with the older children too, upto 10 years old.
I have just had my own little girl aged 1 year old now so I will be looking for a Nanny role around her. I can place her with a childminder 2 - 3 days a week.
I am open to bringing her to work some days and reducing the Nanny rate to a lower one or having her with me for the latter part of the day so I can pick her up from the childminder by 5pm and comfortably care for your child / children alongside having her.

I do occasional babysitting / adhoc work £15 p/h ( day ) and £14 ( one off evenings from 7pm until midnight latest )
As a Nanny, my Gross rate is: £17 p/h. Central London £20 p/h.
Nanny share Gross rate will be : £10 per family, per hour.
I have worked in a few nurseries and ran a Baby room on a long term basis. I have also taken on families from those nurseries where I did some private babysitting work with the youngest baby being just 6 weeks old.

NANNYING
My 1st ever Nanny role I had was in Spain for one year, with a boy 2.5 years and a girl 5.5 years. I worked for and lived with a lovely Spanish family. We all got on great but I was only contracted for a year and although they wanted me to stay longer, I felt I needed to return to the UK.

Since my first Nannying experience in Spain, I have not looked back and have carried on Nannying ever since.
I have had 4 babies 5 months, 9 months, 11 months and 12 months old. And some have had older siblings as well.
Unfortunately, they all grow up and go to school. My last Nanny boy started school in September (2022) and I feel proud to have had him since he was just 11 months old as he has grown into a polite, well mannered, clever and amazing little boy aged 7 now so sadly no longer needs a Nanny.
