About Me

I’m a fun, enthusiastic and caring 28 year old with 10 years experience behind me. I spent the first 5 years of my career working as a childminding assistant. We worked closely together monitoring the children’s development and giving them the best start in life, giving the children so many opportunities to develop and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. Unfortunately the childminder moved far away and gave up childminding, i was then wanted by 2 amazing families we currently worked for. Iv worked for them for 3 years making their lovely children school ready. I then worked for another lovely family caring for 1 year old twins and doing the school drop off and pick up for their older brother. I fell pregnant during my times with them and have currently been on maternity since. I’m returning to work for them this coming September however only untill April2024 as they will then go to pre school.

I spent my usual day at a play group in the morning, if it’s not play group day we will be at a local park, farm, swimming or soft play. We then return to your family home for lunch, stories, singing and then nap time if required before a afternoon activity. Or is required school pick up. I like the children in my care to have a wide range of choice so they can learn to the best of their ability. Looking after children has been my life for so many years.

I’m looking for 2 days a week Thursday and friday (if happy for me to bring my daughter I can work Friday without bringing her then the other day with her.

I drive my own car, hold a full clean driving licence, CRB checked and hold a first aid qualification. I track children’s learning and development in a folder which I follow the EYFS guidelines, this is the best way to look back on days out/ learning recourses/ play groups and general learning, followed with picture pages. For the last 10 I also have families I work for in school holidays and also do occasional babysitting for.
