I am a conscientious and passionate Educational Graduate, who completed the Primary PGCE course at Cardiff Metropolitan University last year. I am 31 years old and live with my fiancé in Cardiff. I am looking to continue to provide childcare for events, weddings, ad hoc babysitting and tutoring around my teaching career.

My Experience
Prior to the PGCE course and after my Early Years undergraduate course, I was a private nanny and carer for 9 years. A job which I found exceptionally fulfilling. I was accountable for providing direct care of several children from the ages of 5 months to 11 years. This role involved safely transporting children to and from school, maintaining adherence to schedules, which established reliability and trust. I was also responsible for developing engaging and stimulating activities to meet the developmental goals for each child. Additionally, I cared for an individual with severe Cerebral Palsy supporting with personal care, administering medication through a feeding peg, supervising, and delivering therapy programmes. A strong bond was created with this individual, and someone who still to this day plays a big part in my life.
I have also provided childcare at several weddings. I am very flexible so happy to try and accommodate what you'd like on your special day (happy to bring the child/children as and when for photo's etc, follow nap/feeding routines and look after multiple children). I appreciate leaving your child with someone unfamiliar can be daunting, so i am happy to meet up prior.
