Yazmin Wallis

Please get in contact if you have any questions or would like to meet.

I am hard working, fun loving, easy going, happy, friendly person who is able to take care of children and suit every need they may have whether it may be dressing feeding or entertaining. I come from a large family of three brothers and four step sisters and brothers who I have cared for many times, also being the eldest in my household I have always done chores around the house such as cleaning and cooking which is also hobby of mine and love to bake. I fell in to nannying as I was looking after other people’s children a lot and doing general babysitting jobs, I just found this is something I love to do and if I can do everyday then why not.

I also now have my own baby boy.
I can get references from my employers teachers and nursery placements.
CRB checked June 2018
I have a driving license and own my own car.
I also own my own house and am able to babysit there if need be.

I do not smoke.

My Experience

Currently I am going to UCLAN Preston to study a degree in children schools and families. I also work in a local nursery three days a week.

Residential childcare practitioner for just over a year now only work as bank staff just to fit around u university.
I completed my college corse in Childcare and young people 0-19 at Blackpool and the Fylde College in 2013. During this time i have learnt a lot about the care and saftey of children and also been able to interact with children of many ages as a part of my learning.
I have took part in placements at two local nurseries looking after children from 0-5
I come from a large family with many children that I have looked after many times.
I have two nephews six weeks and a one year old that I look after at least one full day a week.

I have just started working part time as a child support worker.

I have recently worked for a family for just over a year and a half looking after a baby from three months and a child from 8years. At this time I also went away with the family on two occasions once to Canada looking after the baby for the whole flight away from the parents and another time on a shorter flight but I looked after the baby 24/7 and he was in my room away from the parents the whole time. I also looked after both children many times while the parents where away on business in and out of the country sometimes up to two weeks at a time, caring for them full time in their own home taking them to and from school/nursery and other activities.
Also done after school care for child of five and taken her to after school club ect.
I have a family of three children I would look after weekly but this has now died down as mum has cut work hours.

I now have a 3 year old boy which is the most experience I could ever have. I now understand what a mothers love really is and how you would do anything to make sure your child's needs are at the highest standard and their safety even higher, and not to forget that it really is hard sometimes and a mother does need a little help and a break too.

I always keep houses tidy and don't mind doing a little cleaning when child is asleep such as hoovering washing child's clothes/toys and when I have time.

Yazmin looked after our ten-month old baby girl for two days while we were visiting Blackpool on business. On one of the days she worked from early morning until after midnight.
Baby liked Yazmin as soon as we met and was happy to go away with her straight away. They went to a play group and then played at Yazmin's home. Baby came back well fed, clean and clearly happy.
Yazmin was extremely reliable and punctual, made sure we discussed all the details in advance. She texted us with updates throughout the day so we knew what baby was up to. She is clearly an experienced nanny, cheerful and relaxed, who knows how to make both children and parents feel at ease.
We will definitely contact Yazmin again next time we are in Blackpool!
