Hi, I’m Hannah a self employed nanny with over 9 years experience working with children in nursery and in their own homes.
I love to introduce children to new experiences and challenges to help further their development.
I am happy to take on light housekeeping during naps/child free hours. Can accept tax free childcare vouchers/schemes.
My Experience
I began working with children through work experience placements when I was 16 at a day nursery and schools a part of my level 2 and 3 qualifications.
After completing my course I went on to work in a day nursery for nearly 2 years where I was a key person for 3 children in the toddler room but often covered in the baby and pre-school rooms. Within this position I learnt how to expand activities to encourage further learning and development.
After moving to Derbyshire I became a nanny for a local family and have since worked closely with families both full and part time. I have loved nannying for these families and feel like I became a part of the family. I now work for a variety of families and enjoy the hustle and bustle.
My Qualifications
- 10 GCSE certificates at A* to C
- Level 3 BTEC diploma in children’s care learning and development
- Full and up to date DBS check
- Current paediatric first aid certificate
- Ofsted registered
- Nanny insurance
- Experience with twins
My Availability
**Mondays and Wednesdays available with immediate start**
Tuesdays full days and Thursday mornings available from September
I also have occasional availability on weekends and evenings

Hannah is truly fantastic in every single way. Hannah was with us for almost three years looking after a toddler and a baby through to toddler and always made as much time as we needed for our children. Our kids see her as their best friend and always have done. She is very loved by our family and has become a friend to us all. If you are lucky enough to be in a position where you can have Hannah come in to your lives you will have absolutely struck gold!

We have used a few nannies since ours twins were born and Hannah has been by far the best. She is really organised, punctual and committed to the job. She planned materials and activities to stimulate my children. She follows and documented their development and shared the information with us. she took a hands on approach with the boys, taking them out to the park etc. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nanny / babysitter.

We couldn’t ask for more from a nanny. She has saved my marriage, my career and life. Hannah is very responsible, well organised, calm and kind. My boy is looking forward to have her every morning. In some occasions, she is better than me in managing my baby. I can telI I have learned from her many things. I was suspicious of having nanny, but now I am happy that I have done that. My baby has lots of fun with her. Thanks Hannah💖
