About Me
I am married and have two grown up boys. I have been a childminder for 32 yrs. I am part of Portlethen and newtonhill Childminders and have our own webpage. We have a busy planned week where we meet up with other childminders and their children.
We hire the porty cabin 3 mornings a week. The group offers the opportunity to cover each other's holidays and sick days if required.
The children have access to an enclosed garden and wooden log cabin to keep them out of the sun and a quiet area if they need it.
I only cover portlethen primary school and nursery. I have my grandson and grand daughter Two days a week.
My Experience
32 years as a registered childminder and a mum for 32 years. Brought up in Edinburgh where my parents fostered for 25 years.
i really have the best job and each day is completely different.
The children in my care will mix with lots of other children and be in contact with other childminders in portlethen.
My Qualifications
Childcare at Stevenson college, first aid, child protection, food hygiene and more. Certificates kept on file. Experience of course.
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday 7.15 am to 5.30 pm. Friday is a 4.30 pm finish. I have one space avaiable.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Rates are per hour £6.00. This includes all snacks and lunch.
Sample menu:
Homemade spaghetti bolognese
Sausage casserole
Sweet and sour chicken
Mince and potatoes
Pizza and garlic bread
Sandwiches, wraps etc in the summer time.
Snacks always incl fruit.
