About Me

I am a 31 year old nanny with 15 years experience working with children in varied roles, including 11 years as a nanny. I love being a nanny and making a difference to family's lives and enabling their children to grow and develop.

In my spare time I mainly enjoy travelling, hiking with my dog, reading, cooking, swimming and going to the gym. I am quite creative and I enjoy thinking of different activities for the children to do who I care for. Activities which I do with the children I care for include swimming, baking and cooking, going to the park/woods/for a walk,going to varied playgroups and arts and crafts. I also organise playdates, days out to the zoo, farm, soft play etc.

I keep track of children's development and organise age appropriate activities to strengthen all areas of development.

My Experience

I have 15 years of experience in childcare, including 11 years as a full-time nanny, 1 year in a nursery, and 3 years in a special needs school which catered for 2-19 year olds. I have worked closely with children 1-14.

My Qualifications

Level 3 NVQ in Specialist Support in Teaching and Learning in Schools. Level 2 Introduction to Neuroscience in Early Years.
Paediatric first aid.
