I am an honest, reliable, fun loving person with a very outgoing personality. I am able to connect with people and children from all walks of life and I aim for excellence in whatever I do. I like to try to bring the best out of the children during their development & encourage them whenever I can. I enjoy working with children & spending time with them to see how they grow & develop as individuals as no child is the same. I have a sports background (mainly with football) so I am quite an active person who likes to get out and about to do different activities.
My Experience
I have experience of working with children of different ages in a range of different settings through my previous work as a coach (two football clubs), working in a nursery as an assistant early years worker & voluntary work in youth work. I have been nannying for around 10-11 years now & the kids I have looked after range from 1yr old to 16yr olds. Excellent references are available on request & I have a DBS which you can check as I have registered for the DBS Update Service.
My Qualifications
No childcare specific qualifications. I have coaching qualifications which mean I have emergency aid and safeguarding children certificates. Have previously held Paediatric First Aid certifcates.
My Availability
I am currently looking for morning-early afternoon work two-three days a week to go with my current after school work or two-three full days work. If this is something that could suit you then please feel free to contact me.
