Hello,
I have a daughter, who is 12 and a 10 yr old son.
I am a teacher who has just taken an extended amount of time off of work due to mental health illnesses, but I am beginning to get better.
My Requirements
Im looking for someone to help temporarily after the Easter holidays just for two days a week. My anxiety is particularly high in the mornings and this is impacting my ability to get up and ready. Although my children can do this independently for themselves, I feel that they do a lot for me and would like another adult there to take the pressure off of them and also to ensure they are having a healthy breakfast and are happy and looking forward to their days. I don’t qualify for a career and when I enquired with a private carer, she explained that they don’t take on childcare.

My son really enjoyed his time with Carolyn from March 2015- July 2016. She was always supportive of him, his needs and us as a whole family.
When Otis was in Carolyn's care I knew that he was safe, well-cared for and happy. She did a really good job of keeping us parents informed throughout the day.
Occasionally Carolyn also looked after my daughter and she would always look forward to going round there! The whole family are welcoming and I always felt like Carolyn (and her husband Matt) treated my children as if they were their own and their children treated them as siblings.
I would highly recommend this childminder, you always know where you stand with Carolyn because she is not only great with the kids but also very professional with clear boundaries, polices and contracts.
She is really going to be missed now that I no longer require regular childcare!

Choosing Ann as a childminder is one of the best decisions I have ever made as a parent.
She is warm and loving and totally dedicated to the children and families she works with. She looked after my daughter from 9 months until 2 1/2 years and she developed leaps and bounds in all areas. She loved going to Ann's house and still talks about Ann nearly two years on. The only reason I no longer use Ann as a childminder is because circumstances with my work have changed and we have moved house.
I still visit Ann and attend baby signing group with her where she has had the chance to build a relationship with my son. Although she's not his childminder there is still a bond between them and he gets so excited to see her, she has that way about her that babys and children are drawn to.
Everything appears effortless and natural to Ann, she has an amazing gift when it comes to childminding.
Her paperwork reflects the time and effort she puts in with every child as the observation books and scrap books she makes for each child is more detailed and personal than any I have seen from any other childminder. Our books are treasured by all in our family.
I highly recommend Ann to any family. She has been an asset to our family, a support to us all. She 100% deserves to have 'Chidminder of the Year' award and Outstanding from Ofsted. I could go on and on about the brilliant outings, meals, resources, parties that Ann has and arranges but I would be here forever! Go and visit Ann when considering a childminder, she is truly fantastic!!!
