Going back to work after having a baby is tough, especially with your first, but Sue made that transition so easy for both me and my son Kennedy. You only have to meet her once to see what a natural she is around kids and having got to know her more as the months have passed, itās clear to see how much she truly cares for the children she minds. Our son is now 2 and more often than not, the first thing he says when he wakes up is āSusu house?ā which I think is testament to how happy and comfortable he feels in her setting.
Kennedy comes home from Sueās with all these new words and skills that blow my mind sometimes - heās not just sat in a room playing with toys, heās constantly learning, exploring and growing - Iām often jealous of the day trips they have whilst Iām stuck at work! I also love how seriously Sue considers nutrition for the children. Each day we can see on an app what theyāve eaten and itās expanded Kennyās palette no end. Much more delicious home-cooked food than heād get at home thatās for sure!
When we first started looking for childcare for Kennedy, we planned to find a childminder for the first year or so, then send him to a nursery, but weāve done a complete U-turn on that now and want him to stay with Sue forever š heās thriving and happy which is all I could ever ask for. So if youāre reading this wondering whether to get in touch, take this as a sign to do it - you wonāt regret it!
Thank you Sue for being the absolute best of the best!

We had the best experience with Sue. My 1year old had the best time in her care, settled in so easily & made me feel so at ease.
Has a gorgeous house with a lovely huge garden space & a play room for the children.
My daughter always got excited at drop off, shows how much she loved her childminder.
I highly recommend Sue, she goes above & beyond for both parents & children.

Sue is the perfect childminder if you are looking for a loving home from home setting. Nothing is too much trouble. She cared for our son as if he were her own, providing a stimulating and wonderful environment. Trips to the zoo and the farm are just a few of the activities he enjoyed along with learning numbers, words etc. Sue puts an emphasis on manners and being polite and caring to other children. She provides delicious home cooked food. She was very flexible when I had to work late on a few occasions. I cannot recommend Sue highly enough.

Sue has looked after our child since she was 8 months old and has been amazing. She has accommodated our changes due to family health and always helped when we have had a crisis.
She has encouraged our child to eat lots of different foods and for that we have someone that loves her food. Sue takes the children out most days on many different adventures and our child always comes home full of adventures, lots of art work and most importantly happy.
I would recommend Sue to everyone.

We have been privileged to employ Sue White as our childminder for the past 18 months (February 2021-September 2022) . She has been looking after our son from the age of 11months up until 2.5 years. Sue has been reliable, caring and supportive during this time and we have been so happy for her to look after him.
Sue has always brought a warm, professional and experienced approach and I could tell straight away that she really cares about the children she looks after. She helped him settle into her care quickly and was always reassuring when I had to leave him. I have enjoyed knowing that my son is in small setting where he has been able to develop a good relationship with Sue, and make close friends with the other children in her care. She is enthusiastic and is regularly taking them out to activities in the local area, including the farm and toddler groups which I know he has loved doing.
Sue has also taken an interest in his development and has always been willing to give us sound advice on everything from sleep to tantrums, and even made the effort to visit our home to give me some support. She has been flexible in giving us some extra adhoc sessions recently which has been a huge help to me managing my 3 children under 5!!
I know that my son will really miss attending Sue's setting, and I will miss the wonderful support she has given our family. I would highly recommend Sue to anybody; she has been just brilliant.

Unfortunately I wouldnāt recommend Sue White for childminding. As a family we felt she was very unprofessional, we were left with no childcare due to another one of her parents needing the day we had in place for our little boy. We had used Sue for 6months prior and feel her decision will impact our little boy now having to settle him into a different setting. It is a shame Sue prioritised another parent over us and really hope no other families experience what we have.

So sorry you feel the need to write a factually incorrect review.
I try to accommodate all my parents and for the 1st time in 16 years I had to move a childās day to help another parent who needed to up their days to full time .
I offered to continue working for you for another 10weeks to help whilst you looked for alternatives, even offering to ask fellow minders if they had space. You declined this offer .
I offered to have for one day a week if it helped you declined.
You declined my offer as well to send in notice period but I let you do this at no charge and you left that week.
There was nothing personal in my request asking you to move a day up until this we had a good working relationship.
On your childās last day your OH thanked me for looking after your son , said there was no grudges and understood my reasons for having to do it .
I wish you all well in the future.
