Jen has been our childminder since my son started school and daughter was a baby - and my son is now having his last day before moving to senior school! I can’t recommend Jen enough, and am forever grateful that we made the decision to use her for wraparound school care and showering the kids with warmth and affection. Jen welcomes all the kids into her home and creates an amazing fun and caring environment for them all - there are too many lovely touches that make me know Jen truly cares about everyone. Not least that birthdays are properly celebrated, and my kids have even been known to choose to go into Jen’s on their birthdays so they can have her celebrations as well as ours at home!!
I’m so glad to have chosen Jen, who provides such a homely wraparound school provision - it allows my kids to properly unwind and relax after and before school, and also be fed! It’s such a dream when I pick up, as the kids are always happy and had such a fun time - I’ve never felt guilty about working, knowing the kids are with Jen.
We found all other options open to us lacked the warmth we wanted for the kids - we didn’t want an extension of the school day, and we have struck gold as the kids talk about it with such enjoyment in the same way they would as a play date with friends.
I genuinely can’t praise Jen enough, and thank her for all the love and care she’s shown my two over the years. There’s no-one else I’d choose as a childminder.

Jennie recently looked after my ten month old son for whole day child care, as soon as I met her I felt instantly at ease in her company and was reassured by her thorough discussion of her procedures and registration. Everyday when I dropped my son off he would be smiling and very happy to see her children who were a delight also. She has a lovely open setting at home and takes the little ones out to groups and for walks during the day (weather permitting!). She also provided a day by day diary on what they’d been up to and how my son had gotten on during the day. Really was a pleasure, thank you again!
