EYFS spaces across 2/3 days offered, 7.30-5.30pm (meals optional).please ask for more details
Monday -Friday care for school aged children
Breakfast club 7.30 am-9am with breakfast included and school drop off
After school 3pm-5.30pm ( with the option of hot nutritious dinner)

I am 39 year old Ofsted registered childminder and qualified teacher living in the Townhill area with over 12 years childcare experience. I live with my 4 children, 12 and 1 year old sons, 10 and 4 year old daughters, along with my partner who is a doctor and works alongside me as my assistant when needed. I moved to Southampton 20 odd years ago to complete my zoology degree at the university.

Since then, I completed my teacher qualified status and qualified as a post graduate in secondary education. I am a fully qualified science teacher, and have worked across a variety of secondary schools in the region and tutored many lovely children, ages ranging from 8 to 16 in the core subjects, science, English and math with great success. Before teaching I worked in South Africa with local schools and conservation centres.

I have my NCFE Cache level 3 childminding qualification and up to date paediatric first training including all relevant safeguarding training. I childmind in my own home and have an enclosed grass and patio back garden including climbing frame and outdoor toys . I have a large spacious play room/ area approx. 36M SQUARE with a variety of toys and resources, and we routinely do baking/ arts and crafts/ science experiments activities in the setting.
Large family car with a full license so able to offer day trips/ outings.
I am continuously graded 'GOOD' with ofsted including in my most recent OFSTED grading in October 2025 in all areas

My aim is to provide high quality care and education for children of all age groups. To work in partnership with parents and other practitioners to help children to learn and develop; to add to the life and well-being of the local community and to offer children and their parents a diverse service that promotes equality and values diversity.
