Our daughter loved her time at Helen’s place. Our little one went to Helen for 18 months, we can not be more happy with what she did for her. The communication was outstanding and her place is child safe. We can not recommend more Helen, she is always with a smile on her face. We are impressed with all the things our daughter knows. Thank you Helen for everything.

"We have had the privilege of having Helen as a childminder for two of our children. She was exceptional in her caregiving, providing love, nurturing, and engaging activities, and also kept our children stimulated with trips and joyful experiences like puddle jumping. Helen used pictures to communicate with us and give us a glimpse into their fun-filled days. We will always be grateful for how Helen supported us during a difficult time when our three-year-old was diagnosed with stage 4 childhood leukemia, taking on the caregiving responsibilities and being understanding and compassionate. Throughout her time with our children, she always put their safety first and created a nurturing and stimulating environment that exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend her."

Helen looked after our daughter Rachel for about a year and a half and we feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful childminder. She provides an incredibly nurturing, stimulating environment and goes above and beyond to make sure the children have a fantastic time!
Rachel was born just before the pandemic began and so had limited opportunities to socialise with other children or adults in her first year of life. At 11 months old, she was typically quite anxious and withdrawn around anyone except us, so we weren’t sure how she would adjust to starting childcare. However, Helen helped her (and us!) to feel at ease immediately. She let Rachel set the pace and decide what she was comfortable with. From then on she just kept growing in confidence and absolutely loved her time with Helen.
Helen provides a range of lovely activities every day, including lots of time spent exploring outdoors in local parks/woodland. She knows each child very well and has a real skill for identifying what will interest them and help them develop further. She often went out of her way to find toys/books and plan activities specifically tailored to Rachel's interests.
We also loved the way Helen helped Rachel with her social and emotional development. She always models and facilitates kind and respectful behaviour and encourages the children to discuss their feelings. She also regularly meets up with other children and childminders, which provided additional opportunities for Rachel to socialise with a larger group.
Helen’s communication with us has always been fantastic and we loved receiving daily photos and updates via WhatsApp, as well as daily summaries in her journal. She let us know about Rachel’s small achievements each day and always seemed just as excited about and invested in Rachel’s development as us! She also communicated very effectively with us when managing any changes or difficulties, working closely with us to provide consistency with things like sleep routines.
We could not be happier with the care our daughter received and cannot thank Helen enough for the positive impact she has had on our whole family.

Helen looked after my daughter until she started school. She provided an environment in which she could thrive. I felt happy every day leaving her in Helen's care knowing she would have the best time. I love that Helen gets the children out all the time. They're not cooped up indoors, even when the weather isn't great they get plenty of fresh air and outside adventures. My daughter was so happy going to Helen's every day and full of stories of her adventures at the end of the day. Helen regularly sent photos of what My daughter was up to through the day.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Helen. If you want a caring, nurturing environment for your child to thrive then Helen is the childminder for you.

Helen is a great childminder. My son spent 3 very happy years with her before heading off to school (although I wish he could have stayed longer!!). She provides a home from home experience which meant my son settled in quickly. I never had anything to worry about whilst he was in her care. She sets up fantastic activities for the children each day and provides a stimulating environment - my son grew up into a very able little boy which is in no small part down to Helen. Highly recommended.

Helen looked after my daughter until she went to school, and my son for a further year. Both children flourished with her - they were stimulated every day with different, carefully thought out activities, and their learning flourished in their time with her. She is also a gentle and caring childminder, providing a real ‘home from home’ family environment. The children never had a reluctant morning, and were always so excited to arrive at her door!
She has an excellent reporting approach which gives a real insight into the children’s daily activities and progress. We always felt well informed, and even had recommendations of how to continue the activities at home. Photos sent to us through the day were a fantastic window into their time with Helen, and we were always amazed at the range of activities planned for them.
We were grateful many times for her flexibility with hours and understanding of the challenges of timekeeping when both parents are commuting.
Having used a number of different childcare options in the past, I can confidently say that Helen’s house is absolutely the best anyone could hope for their children. I will always highly recommend Helen. We will always be grateful for the head start our children received through her. Thank you, Helen.

Helen was a amazing childminder. At first I was nervous about leaving my little boy with a childminder and she put me at ease straight away, talking me through the day to day routine and how she would keep my child safe at all times.
My little one would go off and leave me without any tears or tantrums, he really Enjoyed being in Helens care and she would keep them entertained and stimulated at all times.
I would highly recommend Helen. She is a lovely person and amazing childminder

Our little girl spent 1 year with Helen (age 3 - 4). A year filled with love, fun and laughter. The memories every child should have!!!
Helen provided a safe place, with firm and clear boundaries and a nurturing environment for our daughter. Only a mummy knows that warm feeling in her heart when your child is HAPPY!
It was easy to drop off our daughter, knowing that she is in good hands and that she is excited about the day ahead. She got stimulated and were NEVER bored. Helen provided the activities needed for her development and more so, she made education and learning fun! From day trips to messy play, every day was filled with pleasure.
Helen provides for each child’s needs and work from where they are at. All children have different needs. My active little girl got the daily exercise and practical learning she needed to be ready for school. Helen supported the social skills needed and helped her form friendships as she is an only child.
We love Helen so much and will definitely use her future again.
Very highly recommended!!!!

Helen has cared for our daughter for nearly 4 years now (wow!) and I could not have asked for anybody more loving, patient and passionate about what they do. We now also send our son to Helen and the same applies for him!
They have been continuously provided with excellent stimulation including trips to parks, woods, soft plays, toddler groups and local community events. I am also sent photos every day of their activities including all the arts and crafts and playing they do with her at her toy-filled home.
Her three children are brilliant role models, alongside their mum and my children have felt a part of the family from day one. It really is a home from home, personal and loving setting for any child to attend.
We are so sad to be leaving Helen due to relocation. I honestly cannot rate Helen highly enough and fully believe that any child/parent is incredibly lucky to have her as their childminder.

My daughter has been with Helen since she was 8 months old. We made such a good choice in picking Helen to look after her. At almost 2 and a half she has grown into a confident, social child with a fantastic imagination. She loves it at Helen's house and runs in every morning full of smiles eager for me to go. She has built a fantastic relationship with Helen and all the other children. Helen plans exciting activities for the children and they are always out and about. My daughter loves telling me about her day and misses it when she's not there. Going back to work is so much easier knowing that my child is so well cared for and has such fun.
