We are delighted with the care our child has received at Tambies Raising Stars (TRS) over the past five months, and we would not hesitate to recommend Jo to anyone looking for a kind, caring and nurturing childminder.
Choosing the right childcare was a very important decision for us, as it is for any parent, and Jo came highly recommended by a friend whose children had attended her setting. After our initial visit, we immediately felt so comfortable — Jo has created a lovely, cosy environment with both indoor and outdoor space where children can learn, play and feel at home.
The settling-in process was very well planned and thoughtful, and our son has taken part in a wide range of activities which he really enjoys. Jo also keeps us updated every day, which was especially reassuring during the settling-in period when drop-offs can sometimes be a little emotional. It’s very comforting to know how his day has gone and what he has been doing.
We really couldn’t ask for anything more and would struggle to find anyone more caring and loving to look after our child. People often say they treat the children in their care like their own, but with Jo we truly believe this is the case.

My son has been at Tambies for 18 months, the whole Tambie family have taken my son in as one of their own, when we arrive at Tambies, my son is over the moon to go and play. We get regular photo’s sent over a private chat between me, my partner and Jo of what my son gets up to throughout the day. Overall I couldn’t ask for much more from a childminder!

My son has been at Tambies Rising Stars for a year and a half and every aspect of their childcare has exceeded our expectations. Tambies is an incredible environment and our son is thriving with his development, we couldn’t be happier and would recommend to anyone! This setting really is a home away from home for our little boy since he was 10 months old. Our now 2 year old wakes up excited every morning to go to Jojo’s and always walks in with a huge smile on his face.
