About Me
Hello, I am a Ofsted Registered childminder and live in the Hall Green area.
Tambies Raising Stars is very close to Chilcote Primary School and Nursery. I have four beautiful and intelligent children of my own, who are now grown up.
We have very high standard of care which is carefully given to each and every child who comes into my setting. I treat every child individually and deal with their needs separately, so I always follow routines and stick to them as requested by parents.
All children will be able to help with cooking and baking, and have the opportunity to try many different foods.
We spend a great deal of time outdoors where possible and love to embrace our findings. We have a garden which is used all year round and have artificial grass which supports this.
My Experience
I have lots of experience with children since having my own four. I have been a Ofsted registered Childminder since July 2015. I love to give the children my attention all day every day and watch them develop and grow into young confident little people. I couldn't see myself doing anything else, I love to watch the joy on the children's face when they are happy and enjoying themselves. We have lots of activities to do in my own home which is fully equipped for all children of all ages and both genders. I have recently had an extra room built at the bottom of my garden, which gives all kids of all ages the opportunity to relax, play and explore. I have just completed a kitchen and dining room extension to give a more free flow space for the children to play. I have my son and husband who are all registered assistants and have recently employed Sharron too. We look forward to meeting you.

CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare
And lots more evening courses which are available for you to view.
My Availability

Open Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm. Can offer earlier or later finish.

I can also provide long hours for parents who works shifts.
I have a tailor made service to fit around you.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
My fees depend on number of days/hrs and number of siblings. If you contact me and let me know your situation we can discuss this in more detail.
9 month old funding onwards is accepted.
Can pay via vouchers.
No extra fees charged

My son has been at Tambies for 18 months, the whole Tambie family have taken my son in as one of their own, when we arrive at Tambies, my son is over the moon to go and play. We get regular photo’s sent over a private chat between me, my partner and Jo of what my son gets up to throughout the day. Overall I couldn’t ask for much more from a childminder!

My son has been at Tambies Rising Stars for a year and a half and every aspect of their childcare has exceeded our expectations. Tambies is an incredible environment and our son is thriving with his development, we couldn’t be happier and would recommend to anyone! This setting really is a home away from home for our little boy since he was 10 months old. Our now 2 year old wakes up excited every morning to go to Jojo’s and always walks in with a huge smile on his face.
