We started using Marisa when we needed to supplement our little one’s nursery days with a childminder as he was struggling with the size of the class in his current setting. We’d used her for babysitting one night previously and as part of that she’d come to meet our little boy. She mentioned she ran a childcare too and when we starting having challenges with our existing arrangements we reached out to her immediately as we needed to change things and it was causing us a lot of stress and worry. Our little one has SEN needs with speech and language delays and struggles in new ways environments. Marisa took him in 2-days a week and he has blossomed and it had made out entire lives so much easier and happier. Mark loves going to Marisa’s house and she’s kindly taking him in an extra day some weeks over the summer and has helped when we had a last minute emergency request. We cannot fault her and he is absolutely thriving in her care. We wish we’d taken this step earlier as we see how much happier our son is every day and the impact it is having on him and us is wonderful. When he goes to school we will definitely be reaching out for babysitting/to see if there is availability over school holidays as he’s so happy there.

I left a review when my eldest son started wrap around care with Marisa, already stating how brilliant she was. My youngest now goes to Marisa 2 days a week and that won’t be changing anytime soon. They both enjoy their time at Marisa’s, she gets them out and about, my youngest comes home with many creations that they’ve made at toddler groups. Iv a fridge full of colourful art work! And an Easter plant(which I must water!!!) My youngest can be quite clingy with me but goes to Marisa with no worries, and on weekends if we drive or walk past Marisa’s house they ask to stop and say hello ( obviously we don’t…everyone deserves a weekend). She happily takes on board any rules we might try to put in place at home ( we are currently on a chocolate ban!!🙄), and talks to us open and honestly if she is concerned about anything. I also find Marisa great with advice and support, and she is just a lovely person as well as being a great caregiver to my boys I can honestly say I would call her a friend also. I have been invited into Marisa home when she first relocated, and it’s a great space for the kids to play and create havoc, and a lovely garden for them to play on good days. If the weather is rubbish I know Marisa said sometimes puts on “Movie time” creating a cinema feel, which mine love. My eldest is very honest, and when I ask him how was Marisa’s today he always has a story and never complains…. Unless he didn’t get chocolate!!🤣

Marisa looks after our 4-year-old (wraparound) and 1-year-old (fulltime) and we feel really lucky to have her as part of our 'extended family'! The children loved her from the moment they joined her care. It's a real home-from-home environment, so lots of play at home and at baby/toddler groups, as well as trips out to coffee shops, farms, parks and more. We love that she's part of a community network of childcare providers, as it means the children are socialised both in a small setting at her home and a larger one at toddler groups and so on.
Marisa provides a safe, fun and learning environment for the children. She provides a wide range of activities, designed to help the children to flourish, and enjoy their time with her. She’s very communicative with parents too and always keen to ensure we provide a consistent approach to the children’s care and that we are consulted and kept informed about all developments. She is full of energy and positivity, is open to new ideas and obviously loves the company of children. She is very knowledgeable about children’s development and always looks to challenge and grow their minds.

My little girl has been with Marisa for 2 days a week (now up to 3 days a week) since she was 18 months old. She was painfully shy, very very wary of strangers and very reluctant to talk having been born at the start of the pandemic and spent most of her life in lockdown. After 6 months with Marisa she was a different child. She thrived in the homey environment and benefitted so much from being taken to toddlers groups and getting the chance to interact with other children. She adores Marisa and is always very excited to go to her house. She is now a talkative and confident child who chats away about all her friends and is more than ready to start at pre school in September. Marisa was instrumental in bringing her speech along and now she’s learning her numbers and colours with her. Marisa always keeps me updated with photos through the day and will always call if there’s been any issue or to check if she can give her a particular treat. We’ll be so sad come September when it’s time for her to leave for pre school, but Marisa has assured me she is definitely ready for it!

We've been using Marisa for after school care for my daughter since she started reception at the Hayes Primary this year. Marisa gives a good handover, sends us pictures, and in my daughter's words "is kind and friendly". We've done a few ad hoc days where we've needed daytime care because of school strikes and my daughter had a good time. She always seems to get out and about to groups in the morning which I think is good for the children. Food looks balanced and my daughter eats well there. The small group all seem to get in well and I feel this is a good setting for her to have a wind down after a busy day at school. Marisa is very responsive and easy to talk to if I've ever got any queries.

My son has been with marisa since reception, he is now in year 4 and has continually used her service.
Over the years I have built great trust and friendship with Marisa, she is easy to communicate with, she will go above and beyond to accommodate any additional needs and will always help and support where she can.
I have never had any concerns when it comes to her caring for my son. During the holidays she will always make sure there are planned activities and not only that, she will contact parents of my sons class in order to set up play dates, which really helps me out when I'm working and unable to do this for him.
Marisa will make sure that the children are getting a good amount of fresh air and socialising with other children whilst keeping them safe and happy.
I will always send parents her way when looking for childcare.

Marisa selfishly dragged my 19 month old daughter with a temperature and crying constantly (plus a lack of sleep) to a playgroup to meet her friends. Due to a lack of care my daughter ended up distraught, and kept on saying no when we say we are going to Marisa. This was due to the childcare consisting of daily trips to Costa Coffee to meet friends, playgroups with childminder friends and the children spending far too much time in a minibus that isn’t fit for purpose (over an hour to do school runs and drop offs). We have never had a learning and development plan, nothing written down about my daughters day and we never received any information about her sleep times, her nappy changes or what she has eaten. She didn’t get cooked meals and instead is fed at playgroups. She hid the last Ofsted report as it was "reviews improvement".

I'm sorry you feel like this but it's very unkind to be spreading lies about my setting.
I wish your child all the best within the new setting as I know they will thrive like they did at mine, your child will be massively missed.
Im sad it has ended like this and that i had to hand my notice in due to certain behaviours, nothing to do with any children.
I've been doing this for a few years and never had any issues with any of the many families I deal with.
My setting is a fun loving home from home feel. The many children I look after are all reaching their goals and are thriving to become school ready. All my family's are very happy with their child/ren progress.
My mindies love the outside and meeting others within the community we're fortunate enough to have the amazing community toddler groups close by aswel as lovely parks/woods, soft plays and many more....

Our son has only been under Marisa’s care since September 2021 but even by day one he loved her!
I was quite nervous about him starting reception and going to a new childcare setting following the year of changes we’ve all had as a result of Covid and because he definitely is the BOI in boisterous! However Marisa completely put my mind at rest on our first meeting. I have complete trust and respect in her, and I know her values follow what we do at home. And if she can she will help in anyway.
Our son is so at home when he goes to Marisa, kicks he’s shoes off at the door and disappears in to claim the remote without so much as a goodbye to us!! That puts me at ease though because I know it means he is happy. And that’s not to mention how exciting it is that he gets to travel to and from school on the ‘Party Bus’!! My car is now “so boring”!
I couldn’t recommend Marisa enough! She’s a gem.

My daughter started with Marisa in October 2020. Most of her time with Marisa has been through lockdown but she is always out and about with the kids and trying to make each day fun regardless of the current situation. Marisa has been understanding to situations I have had with work with furlough etc and has been flexible and amenable.

Marisa has looked after my 3 boys over the last 18m/2yrs. I have 2 primary school age boys who she provided wrap around care for and she looked after my pre-schooler from 18m. I was always comfortable leaving them in her care and she had a group of local childminders and they would do activities and days out together so it was nice that the little ones had a peer group of friends. They did fun activities and lots of walks.
Marisa is well known and liked at the school so the kids felt comfortable with her. My kids enjoyed spending time with her children and her other mindee's.
I appreciated the flexibility she provided and she was happy to provide babysitting for a much needed night out with my husband.
I thoroughly recommend Marisa as a professional, trusted childminder. She is also a lot of fun and bubbly and warm.
