Julie looked after both of our daughters over a seven-year period, from 2019 to 2026, and we honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better. Leaving your children to return to work is horrible, but Julie made the whole process so much easier, especially after we'd had issues with two previous childminders.
From the moment each of our girls started with her, they were happy, settled and excited to go each day. Julie created such a warm, caring and homely environment, which was exactly what we wanted instead of a nursery setting. She took the time to get to know them as individuals, encouraging them to try new things, build friendships and grow in confidence. She also worked closely with us to support key milestones such as potty training.
Julie has played a huge part in both of their early years and in helping them become the fierce, independent young girls they are today (this is both a blessing and curse lol). She encouraged them to be confident, curious and kind, while always providing the reassurance and support they needed.
The girls loved the activities and outings including from playgroups and library visits to crafts, outdoor play and days out bowling and to the cinema. She regularly met up with other childminders and their children, providing further opportunities to develop their social skills. Even during the Covid pandemic, when our eldest was with her, there was always an activity, adventure or day out planned.
Julie was brilliant at keeping us updated through messages and phots. We always knew how the girls were getting on and felt comfortable raising any questions or concerns with her.
Julie has been a huge part of our family life, and saying goodbye was so hard (more so for me than the girls!). Both girls have wonderful memories of their time with her, and we will always be grateful for the care, patience and support she gave them.
Julie is amazing, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy and genuinely wonderful childminder. We feel very lucky to have had her as part of our daughters' and our lives for so many years.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had such a wonderful childminder look after our son. From the very beginning, she was warm, caring and nurturing, and it was clear that she genuinely loved and cared about the children in her care.
Our son absolutely loved going to “Sweetie”, as he affectionately called her. He was always happy to go and came home full of stories about his day. Knowing that he was so settled, happy and comfortable in her care gave us complete peace of mind as parents.
She provided a lovely home-from-home environment where he felt safe, supported and encouraged to learn and develop. She was attentive to his individual needs and personality, while also giving him plenty of opportunities to play, explore and become more independent. We really appreciated the variety of activities and experiences she provided, as well as the care she took to support his social, emotional and developmental progress.
Communication with us was always excellent. She kept us informed about how he was getting on and was approachable, reliable and understanding whenever we had questions or concerns. We always felt that our son’s wellbeing was her priority.
We will always be grateful for the care, kindness and happy memories she gave him. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent looking for a caring, trustworthy and dedicated childminder.

Julie has been an incredible childminder for our son over the past year, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. From the very beginning, she created a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where he felt happy, secure, and excited to learn and explore.
One of the things our son loved most was the variety of daily outings, whether it was trips to playgroups, the park, or the library. Julie always made sure the children had enriching experiences and plenty of opportunities to socialise, play, and develop new skills.
Her level of care and attention is outstanding, and the safety and wellbeing of the children is clearly her top priority at all times. It is obvious how much she genuinely cares about every child she looks after.
Our son was genuinely sad to leave, which says everything about the bond he built with Julie and how much he loved spending time with her. We are so grateful for everything she has done for our family and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Our little childminding family are sad to see him go. We wish you and your family well.
Julie was great with my little boy. I was very worried after my son had had little interaction with other people due to the virus and was very clingy.
Julie had us visit and explained everything.
My son loved going and she kept me up to date with messages and pictures. Perfect for a nervous mum going back to work.
Just a lovely homely atmosphere. And loved he's little art picture he brought home for me to see.
Also he ate a lot better than me! Great meals and a diary filled out so I knew exactly what he had been up to.

Julie looks after both my daughter 3 days a week. They love going to her house and I am confident leaving them in her care.
Returning to work after having the children was stressful and I looked at many of the local nurseries and childminder before choosing Julie. I had spoken to her at a local playgroup before I knew she was a childminder. Julie is great with my girls and exactly what I needed when returning to work.
