Fantastic service

Our son Teddy was with Jane and her partner Geoffrey for just over a year and a half. They have offered a fantastic service, looking after the welfare of the children, providing a variety of balanced meals, activities and regularly providing pictures and updates throughout the day. Couldn’t fault the service they have provided, highly recommended.

A good and caring child minder

My daughter was with Jane and Geoff for nearly 3 months or so, and I must say she settled in quickly with them. They were very caring and everytime I picked my daughter she was happy and looked content. Unfortunately the commute didn’t work for us hence why I had to stop using their services. Had it worked I definitely would have continued with them. Jane took a lot of effort in ensuring the occasions are celebrated and everytime there was a lovely card or something else made by the kids which got sent home. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a child minder within the area.

Trustworthy and amazing childcare

Jane and Geoff are an amazing team, there is always peace of mind when I have my children in their care. It’s a home away from home feeling. My little one settled in super quickly with them, they have that caring and nurturing nature and they really know how to support each child individually. My eldest child was with them regularly, and I knew when my little one arrived he had to go there too (even though we lived further away at this point, they’re the only ones I could truly trust). It’s a very scary thing to leave your child with someone new but with Jane and Geoff it was super smooth and comforting, from the moment my baby went to see the setting we were both comforted in knowing he would be in great and safe hands! He’s developed such a strong bond with them both, they’re like family. Thank you so much for all you’ve done for my boys!

Feels like home

We have been with Jane and Geoffrey since October, my daughter absolutely loves attending their childminding services. I was very worried at the beginning as my daughter was very scared and upset however, after just 2 days she was absolutely fine. Everytime I pick her up she doesn’t want to leave. We have everything we were looking for in the childminder and I know my daughter is very well taken care of.
I can highly recommend Jane and Geoffrey

A home from home

My daughter has been with the Glynn family since she was a year old. When I returned to work after maternity leave, I was unsure how my little girl would adapt to a new routine. Jane & Geoffrey made her so welcome in their home, providing healthy home cooked meals and a wide range of activities everyday. My little girl often comes home with baked treats & artwork, and always a smile on her face. I am sent pictures regularly which is a lovely reassurance that she is happy. They have been very adaptable on days when I needed extra help or would be late. I know my son will fit right in too and can take comfort in knowing they are being looked after be kind & caring people.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!

My son has been going to Jane and Geoffrey since he was 6 months old. He is now 3 and still to this day loves going. They go above and beyond with their care,love and support. I am sent pictures everytime my son goes to the setting. It is a home from home 🏡 even throughout this whole pandemic they have been amazing in which most be such a stressful time for them. Ellis is always so happy to see them and will always come out happy. Nothing is ever too much for them and are very flexible. Cant rate them highly enough and always sing their praises!! They love the children like they are their own.

A Loving, Nurturing and Caring Environment

Jane and Geoffrey have been my sons minders since he was 10 months old. Not only has he come on leaps and bounds within his development but he has also grown into such a confident, loving and caring child. During the transitional phase, Jane and Geoffrey ensured my husband and I were kept in the loop by sending us pictures and daily texts to let us know what he was up to, which made the entire experience so much easier and less daunting. My son absolutely loves the Glynn family which is confirmed everyday when he reaches out at the door to them and squeals with excitement. We always look forward to the daily photos they send of the children's endless arts and crafts/activities. We truly could not think of any other minders that would make us feel as comfortable as these two do. If your looking for a family "home away from home" feel then look no further!

Amazing childcare

I have been using Jane and Geoffrey childminders for almost a year. I think they are amazing they are very flexible and accommodating to my work hours. I receive regular pictures of activities and my son comes home with many pieces of artwork food they have baked and things. My son is always very happy to go to either of these childminders and loves going out with them when possible. He always leaves happy and content. I am so thankful for their devotion to the children in their care and even in this tough time they have been open and understanding that I may be late.
I am so pleased with the care my son gets I will be using them for many years to come. Kind friendly and supportive childminders I would recommend to anyone looking for care for their child. Keep up the good work you are both amazing.

best childcare I’ve found

My children have been looked after by Jane and Geoffrey for almost three years now, they provide a safe and welcoming environment and I don’t feel at all worried while my children are in their care. They have been flexible and considerate throughout the time I have known them and I have found that they go above and beyond for us in hard times, which is more than I can say for some other childcare I’ve used in the past. I would highly recommend Jane and Geoffrey to anyone looking for reliable and friendly childcare. It’s not easy to find!

Not good

These childminders are not well equipped to look after children. They do not provide varied activites at all or go out of their way for the kids. They seem to be running more of a business rather than a warm, friendly welcoming home which every child needs. They are not flexible to parents requests and will not accommodate any specific needs for a child as this results in extra work which they like to avoid. I have noticed children are just left to play at their own desire without any specific learning or activites. Photos of your children are not taken daily and sent to the parent which is not reassuring and makes you wonder what your child has been up to all day. I do not recommend this childminder, if your looking for someone friendly, warm and caring towards the kids and actually enjoys doing their job - I strongly suggest to look elsewhere !

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you felt so strongly about the service we provided you.

We have tried to contact you and your husband to discuss the concerns raised but have had no response to our phone calls, messages and email.

We cared for your child, from the age of 14 months, for almost 2 years and during that time you never aired any of the grievances that you have now raised. Your child was always happy at our setting and we were always receptive to your needs, requests and requirements regarding your child's care.
If you had raised these concerns at the time, we would have addressed them immediately.

When the contract ended your husband brought us a lovely bottle of wine and thanked us for everything that we had done.

You clearly have your own motives for leaving such negative and factually incorrect comments without raising them with us first and are disappointed that you should wish to air them so publicly, initially, by using an alias.
