My daughter has been going to Gilly Bees since September 2022 and we feel so lucky to have found Gilly and Crisse.
They both take incredible care of my daughter and share regular updates and photos of their activities from the day, which is lovely to see. The focus on outdoor play means my daughter gets to experience so much more than being in a traditional childcare setting with regular trips to museums, parks, soft plays and local playgroups, which is fantastic.
I appreciate the effort Gilly Bees go into to raise awareness of important days throughout the year, taking the time to talk to children about Diwali, Remembrance Day, Eid etc. and enjoy hearing my daughter tell me all about it when she gets home.
I truly cannot recommend Gilly and Crisse enough, they are amazing in every way and really do provide fantastic experiences for little ones! We are so grateful to have found friendly, nurturing and engaging childminders who genuinely care for my daughters wellbeing :)

I cannot recommend Gilly more highly. What a fantasticly kind person. My daughter adores her and is always so excited when she gets to go there!
All the children are so happy at Gilly Bee's, I honestly couldn't think of a single way to improve it.

I HUGELY recommend Gilly Bees Day Care. Gilly and her assistant, Crisse, looked after my little boy on a weekly basis. There was regular communication and end of day photos of the lovely trips and activities he’d been taking part in. I have 100% trust in both Gilly and Crisse to look after my son. They both ensured that he had eaten when in their care and supported him also from an educational perspective going above and beyond to help his progress. Two very caring and considerate individuals who put the children’s needs at the heart of what they do - thank you :)

Gilly and her sister are just perfect in every way. We consider ourselves privileged to have had our two in their care for the past year.
Both our son and daughter adjusted in no time since our first scouting visit and we never looked back. We are always 100% sure they are taken care of AND exposed to all sorts of amazing learning and fun experiences, arts and crafts, loads of outdoors and exploration trips to museums, parks, farms, libraries, city,... And if they do stay in the house it's everything from singing, book reading, and free play to mud kitchen creations and other back garden fun. Their English, maths, emotional intelligence, appreciation of other cultures, even some early STEM stuff, fine and gross motor skills, all noticeably improving week on week.
Every day we get amazing pictures from their day together along with details of all the fun they had as well as their progress. And any other communication is just as easy and honest.
And the ultimate review? Just ask our daughter or son. They both "love Gilly and Crissy" and can't wait for Mondays to see them again:)

Gilly has looked after my daughter many times (sometimes will little notice!) and it is honestly like leaving her with my family.
My daughter gets nervous and upset round people she doesn’t know, but she took to Gilly and her home like a duck to water….I didn’t even get a glance back!
She went above and beyond expectations with such a wide variety of activities and food, I just wish she could come and live with me!!
Thank you so much, Gilly. You made navigating going back to work a million times easier ❤️

Our daughter, aged 15 months is our second child, and having gone through the ups and downs of childcare with our son aged 4, we had a good idea of what we wanted. Both my partner and I are Primary School teachers with many years of experience and our priorities for childcare were for our children to develop a love for play and to have experiences beyond the home environment. We also wanted consistency and a home from home environment and with our previous experiences with regular staff changes, we knew that Gilly’s was right for not just our 1 year old, but her older brother too!
I’ve named the review faultless as the experience that we have had for the last four months has been fantastic. Gilly and her assistant are kind, patient and extremely caring. They provide incredible experiences both in their home and regularly out too. My children have experienced things for the first time at Gilly’s, such as visiting libraries, travelling on public transport, visiting the florist and so much more.
Our son has always struggled with attachment, but he runs into Gilly’s excitedly and even feels disappointed when I collect him to go home. Our daughter has been attending since she was ten months old and she waves and babbles with a smile on her face when we pull up. She’s so settled there!
Gilly and her assistant go above and beyond and the communication between there and home is absolutely amazing. We have a clear idea of what they do each day with lots of photographs to look at and their routines are met well.
I am currently commuting to work, with Gilly’s near to work. When asked regularly, ‘Would you look to move closer to home?’, my answer is ‘My children are so settled at Gilly’s… I would never move them now!’
I couldn’t be happier with our decision and I honestly feel like my children’s lives and being shaped not just by us as parents but by Gilly too!

I’m so pleased that you, Dom and the children are happy.
When it came to the dreaded period of having to find childcare we were a little worried we wouldnt find the right fit for our daughter Ellie. Having had her at home up until about the age of 2/3 we expected a difficult period. We have been so lucky to find Gilly, it made the transition easy and Ellie is extremely happy and excited to go to Gilly's every morning. Each night i get a run down of the day from Ellie, follow up by a fact based message from Gilly with photos of what they have been upto in the day, they often are similar but Ellie definitely adds a few more pieces of imaginary detail ha! In the last year or so Ellie has grown and developed and has made some really good friends, she is looked after and cared for as if she is one of Gilly/Crisse's own children and i know come September when she starts school she is going to be in the best position possible to do so because of the care and teachings of Gilly Bee's. Ellie has daily adventures to different parks and woodlands, learns about feelings and emotions amongst a whole host of other things. Ellie always comes home full to the brim having eaten snacks and her 3 meals a day (only time she properly eats is with Gilly!) which is always reassuring to know. I would 100% recommend Gilly Bee's for anybody in need of childcare, throughout the pandemic i have worked and Gilly has always been flexible in pick up and drop off time and has been a great support. Thank you Gilly & Crisse for everything you have done and continue to do for Ellie :)

She’s a joyful, happy little character and we will miss her tremendously. We are very lucky to still have the pleasure of helping & watching her develop for a few more months
Lottie has had the best two years with Gillys bees. The day to day life at Gillys bees was amazing . It was a safe and loving environment. My little girl was full time and wanted to be with Gilly at weekends aswell. Full of activities I just can't tell you how happy I was as a very fussy mum leaving lottie. It became her second home. Her development has shown through and all thanks to Gillys bees . I would trust Gilly and Crissie 100%. Thank you for being Lotties second Mummy's ❤️

My little girl has been with Gilly for seven months now, she started just after her first birthday. My daughter now toddles up to the door, gives Gilly a wave and walks straight in without looking back. Gilly’s setting is like a home from home but with lots more activities, messy play and learning. Gilly tends to take the children out and about to different parks and my little girl loves exploring. My daughter is always happy and content when she has been with Gilly and I am so happy with the care she receives.

She settled in so well & love watching her beautifully grow & develop
My son has been attending Gilly Bees daycare for nearly a year. Hes had a wonderful time. Gilly always ensures there are things to do that he is interested in and makes his days as fun as possible. Gillys has become a second home to him and he feels comfortable going to play and loves to attend. Gilly has a lovely garden and my little boy is very active and has had lots of fun running around, playing with the other children and getting messy in the mud kitchen . As a keyworker parent, Gilly has maintained reliable, safe and flexible care throughout the pandemic and I have always felt that my son is just as safe with Gilly as he is with me. We are genuinely sad for him to be moving on to school.
