Mel babysits our kids a more or less regular basis. She is great, absolutely lovely with them, but more importantly, she is a proper professional. Especially as our youngest is struggling with the language (coming from abroad), she always has valueable tips for us on how to support him. She is very flexible and open regarding their immediate needs.

I have had Mel baby sit two times now, she is always on time friendly reliable and brilliant. I was really nervous to leave my young children but Mel put me at ease to leave them. Will only use Mel now xxx

I was very pleasantly surprised by Mel, who was prompt, pleasant and caring. My daughter is very shy and everyone comments on how she doesn't talk but there was no hesitation with Mel, who seemed to put her right at ease. I will definitely be hiring her again. Goes above and beyond. An expert at connecting with kids!

I’ve used Mel for a few years now absolutely fantastic! Teddy loves going to Mel’s she caters for all his needs. Made us comfortable from the start and great communication with regular updates on how he’s getting on throughout the day. Mel does so much with the children was amazing to see my son thrive and come on so much. Couldn’t recommend enough she’s one of the best. Thank you.

Mel has looked after Oscar for one and half year and we have seen him develop so much in this time. Oscar come home happy and full of joy from interacting with the other children.
Mel creates our WhatsApp group and send us pics and videos throughout the day which gives us a little window into his world while he is away from us.
We have had to relocate back to Birmingham because of our work and having to gain trust in someone new to watch Oscar will be difficult because Mel is such a kind and trustworthy person who put the children first before anything.
We will miss Mel ourself and always remember how she looked after our baby boy and helped him mature into the cheeky 2 year old he is today.

My husband and I were looking for a weekend childminder for our 2 year old and we came across Mel's profile and we couldn't have asked for anyone more flexible, caring and totally passionate and dedicated to her job. Mel's contact with us when arranging dates to have our daughter is great, not to mention when she is in Mel's care, we are updated on how she is getting on throughout the day and photos to keep us at ease and make us smile knowing she is having such fun. We totally recommend Mel to anyone who needs full-time childcare, part-time childcare and unsociable childcare like ourselves. Mel is very down to earth, has a great energy and best of all, our daughter loves seeing her and we know she is looked after properly!

Mel helped us out when we initially moved to the area with some evening babysitting. She came recommended from a colleague and she was great! Reliable, flexible and we felt comfortable leaving our 3 year old with her.

Mel is an amazing childminder she has been looking after my son for nealy two years and i wouldnt want him to go to anyone else. would highly recommend to any one looking for a childminder my little boy loves going to Mel's i am able to relax knowing liam is happy and safe and being well looked after nothing is ever to much and always there to help. Being single parent is hard trying to work and fit around child care but Mel has been very accomodating and made it easier for me to be able to go to work. So greatful for all she has done to support and help me with Liam.

My daughter if 4 has been going to Mel for a few months I took her out of a private nursery and decided to go with Mel.
My daughter has separation issues away from me but since she started with Mel that has all changed she wakes up in the morning at 6.30am asking if she can go which is brilliant news for me when I have to go work, I like knowing my daughter is happy and safe.
Mel is a lovely lady and the children she looks after a lovely very friendly and welcoming.
My daughter loves going, Mel does all sorts of activities with the children, has a very good variety of toys and takes them many places to interact with other children.
I would certainly recommend to anyone.

Mel started minding my 4 year old son 4 months ago since I decided to remove him from a private nursery. He quickly settled into Mel’s care despite being shy and reserved.
Mel took the time to source toys that specifically appeal to his age, gender and personal preferences so that he is happy in her care. She plans activities around his personal likes and takes all the children on indoor and outdoor trips/activities regularly. My son always wants to stay longer at Mel's house as he has so much fun there, which says it all!
I am so pleased with Mel that she has recently looked after my 13 month old daughter as well. Mel is very flexible and accomodating too as she caters for all my frequently changing requirements.
From the designated toy room/conservatory to the garden, Mel's house has it all and I'm so glad she is our childminder.
