An amazing Childminder

Pauline has been an absolute blessing to our family over the past year. From the beginning, it was clear that she is not only highly experienced, but truly passionate about what she does. She creates such a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive, and that has given us complete peace of mind every single day.

Our daughter absolutely adores her, and it’s easy to see why. Pauline is incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful, always going above and beyond to make each child feel valued and cared for. She brings so much energy and creativity into her care, ensuring our daughter is engaged, learning, and most importantly, happy.

What really sets Pauline apart is her genuine generosity and dedication. She treats our child as if it were her own, and it shows in the strong, trusting relationship she has built. We’ve seen such wonderful development in our daughter during her time with Pauline, both socially and emotionally, and we truly believe that’s largely down to the exceptional care she provides.

We feel so lucky to have found Pauline and couldn’t recommend her more highly to any family looking for a caring, reliable, and truly outstanding childminder.

Unreliable

I don't like giving negative reviews or comments in respect of anything generally. However, whilst we liked Pauline, she has given us a one day notice of no longer being able (due to not wanting to work full time anymore, as she was looking after another child for the other 3 days) to look after our child which has had a huge impact on us. She was aware that we have taken our little boy out of nursery on the 2 days she was looking after him and we are both full time working parents with no back-up childcare/family around to help. The nursery was not able to take him back full time and we were left scrambling to find childcare. Extremely disappointed. She has also done this at a time in which she knew I was sick from work related stress, and nonetheless she didn't give it a second thought of adding additional pressure.

I am very sorry you felt this way. You are correct, I gave you no notice but was also ill having contracted the flu from the family. I gave 100% on every other day I worked with your family, providing 100% care, enthusiasm and commitment. As I said I am sincerely apologetic for the circumstances you found yourself in.
