The best in the biz!!

I was so nervous about putting my little boy into childcare but as soon as I went to visit sues house I was instantly put at ease. Sue and the girls are amazing, they’re so welcoming and my little boy absolutely loves it.
His day is always full of fun and they send you lovely pictures of what they’ve been up to which is so nice to see. If you want your children to go to a caring, home from home this is definitely the place. My little boy has come on so much since starting sues house. Thank you for everything guys :) xxx

Amazing. Couldn't ask for more!

Well what can I say about sues House?
My oldest has attended, and now my middle child is attending.... and baby 3 will be attending! All from the age of 9months up to pre / school years. And all attend during the school holidays as well.
When the mum guilt hit in about returning to work and leaving my 9 month old in childcare, I knew I wanted a home from home, somewhere which could provide cuddles on the sofa when needed, structured and free play, cuddles with a book and more one to one care.... and that's what my children gets at sues.
As parents both our jobs are shift based / change in shift patterns / have to stay behind at work at short notice. Sue has always been understanding of this, and has always tried to accommodate our shift work.
Sue house provides my children with a warm, safe, caring and loving environment for them to grow, learn and to be cared in.
I know when my children are there, they are well cared for and having fun !
Always fed with lovely home cooked meals.
I have always been up dated regularly throughout the day of the kids actitives.
And regularly up dated with the kids key workers for developmental up dates as well. I feel like I could express any concerns to sue. Laura, lois, or nikki and these would be listened to and addressed straight away!
The kids often go on outings... examples include, jump, soft play, shopping, park, and to the cafe, etc. And they both love going in sues big van !
Sue and her team, nikki, Laura and lois, work hard to provide the children with different actitives each day, being it inside house, the summer house, and garden.
I can't thank sue and the girls enough for all their care that they have provided my children over the years !

love sues house!

My little boy has been going for around 7 months I think, and he’s come on leaps & bounds!
He really struggled to go when he first started as he’s only been used to me, and seeing him start to get comfortable and walk in with no issues was just fabulous! His speech has come on so much, and he loves his time at Sue’s house! I love seeing updates in the private WhatsApp group parents are in, it’s so nice knowing when I’m at work he’s having such a good time! 🫶🏼

Sue’s House is simply fab

Sue is an amazing childminder & her assistants are all lovely too. All very welcoming and accommodating. Her homely set up is just perfect for kids and my wee one thoroughly enjoys her time there. She’s met lots of friends too and they all welcome her each morning. It’s a lovely mix of children too, different ages. My wee one is always full of smiles when I drop her off and pick her up. Don’t worry if your little one cries or isn’t sure at first, mines was the same, but she’s now fully settled in! Sue and the girls are always taking the kids on little trips to bounce play or the swingpark, which is lovely to see. The parents are all in a private WhatsApp group and we regularly get sent pics of the daytrips or the kids playing in the back garden and summer house (which is just like a classroom - it’s fab!) We love the home setting as I was at odds when choosing - childminder or nursery? But I made the right choice with Sue’s House and actually prefer the home setting. It brings a personal touch. I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Sue’s setting and my family are so pleased we’ve found her! 🙂

Absolutely amazing

My son and daughter both attend Sue's House only in the holiday time. They absolutely love their time with Sue. She does various activities and the kids always come home happy. I'm very happy with the service Sue provides and would deffinatly recommend.

An absolute diamond!

My 3 boys have been attending Sue’s House for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier to have found her. My Boys are 9, 4 and 2 and all thoroughly enjoy their time at Sue’s. Just this morning my youngest ran all the way to her house and couldn’t get through the front door quick enough.
Sue is extremely patient and the way she engages with children of all ages is admirable. My youngest amazes me every day with what he learns whilst in her care. He often starts singing songs or counting and repeating what he has learnt that day and it’s lovely to see the positive impact Sue has on his learning and development.
Sue regularly sends pictures of the children engaging in fun, educational play during the day such as messy play, arts and crafts – things I don’t have the time to do at home. My kids enjoy their meals at Sue’s and often ask me to ‘make it like Sue does’.
Sue is very accommodating and the children in her care are always her top priority. I honestly couldn’t recommend Sue’s House enough, as a single working mum, finding Sue has taken so much stress out of my life and provided me the opportunity to work knowing my children are safe, loved and cared for whilst in her care. It’s lovely to walk to her house in the evening and hear all the children laughing and playing together and they are always smiling from ear to ear when I pick them up.
My only regret about Sue’s House is that I didn’t find her sooner.

One in a million

My son has been attending Sues house for the past 14 month and our family couldnt be happier, Sue has outstanding reviews and we now know why, she is an absolute gem. Always flexible with her times when we need Sue to have our little boy at such short notice, patience of a saint. He always comes home beaming from ear to ear he absolutely loves it at Sues house and has made some wonderfull friends there, he has come on leaps and bounds since he has been attending Sues setting and its lovely to see his progress and what he has been upto with pictures daily and the observations Sue, Hakeem and Beth do on him while hes there. She makes some of the best home cooked meals for all the children so we know he is always well fed. They go on outings daily and Ethan especially loves going to playgroup and doing the arts and crafts at Sues house and he always brings his pictures home to show us. Nothing is too much trouble for Sue and we are just so happy we found her after going to view multiple nurseries and childminders around us she really put our minds at rest when we had to go back to work knowing that our son was in a safe, fun and loving environment. Thanks Sue. Xx

Great experience, the best childminder ever

Our only son started at Sue’s when he was 7 months old as I was required to return to work. It was a tough thing for myself and my husband, as we had to leave our son full time at childcare since we didn’t have extended family with us. For our solace, Sue had availability and flexibility we were looking for.
It took only a few days for Sue to make our son settled at her childcare. Our son was having re-occurring ear infections where he was required to be seen by the doctor and given antibiotics. It was not possible for me to take off from work every time he was sick. Sue was very empathetic on our situation and was willing to keep our son while he was on medication. She always put us at ease by reassuring us that our son had her full attention.
Sue is very flexible with times. I do a few late shifts per month and Sue was always flexible to keep him when I work late. Our son is really happy at Sue’s and he hardly even notice myself or husband, the moment we steps into Sue’s house. He plays, learns, and enjoys his time at Sue’s. His daily activities, food, naps, bottles etc are recorded in a diary with pictures taken time to time. Sue takes the children at her care to local play grops, and loads of creative activities are done at hers.
We couldn’t think of any better childminder for our son. Sue has all that qualities you’d ever expect in a childminder. She’s patient, loving, caring and hard working. We would definitely recommend her.

Patience of a saint.

My little boy has been attending Sue’s House for about 9 months now.
It has taken him a while to become totally settled without us but Sue and her assistants have been so patient (even on the worst of days!) and helpful with the process- both with him and us!
I receive photos almost every week from Sue of my little boy out and about and updating me on anything that I would need to know. Communication has always been brilliant and very accommodating for our flexible work schedules.
Whenever I drop off/pick up all of tHe children are always happy and all doing different things! My little boy loves coming and I would recommend Sue’s House in a heartbeat.

Happy little girl

Our daughter joined around her first birthday and has been with Sue for 4 months so far. She absolutely loves Sue and all the other children adore her. She's happy to toddle off to her friends every morning and I know she'll enjoy her day. We particularly love her daily diary and regular photo updates. Would absolutely recommend this setting to others.
