Our little boy has been with Louise for 3 years, before leaving for school this year. He has absolutely loved his time at Louise’s. He started just after his first birthday, and it’s been like home from home. We can’t fault the care and love he’s been given. The daily updates we received included photos of what they had been up to which was great to see. There wasn’t a day that went by where they were not doing something, from days at the local farm, trips to the park, visits to the library and even an arranged visit to the local fire station! Louise was great with potty training and speech encouragement, she’s also provided the school with a thorough handover and assessment. We can’t recommend Louise enough.

Louise was & still is in my opinion the best out of all the childminders we met then and even now!
From day one she gave her full attention to my then 1 year old son & related really well to him & us as a family. As a new mum she really reassured me when ever I had any concerns & gave me lots of useful tips which was amazing as we lived so far away from family. My son was always so excited to go & spend time with Louise. Both myself & my husband found Louise to be very methodical, meticulous & thorough in all she did. The best part of it she did it effortlessly with a smile all whilst having a busy schedule/ timetable of what the week or day would look like. From playing in the playroom, the back garden which was privately enclosed with beautiful hedges & flowers. Taking him to the beach, the farm, local parks, play groups, leeds castle. We found her to be so much more than we could have ever expected & she exceeded our expectations on a daily basis. Louise also gave us feedback about his progress & tracked his developmental milestones. These came in picture books, daily updates in a then mini ring binder & we also had a newsletter for the term about what the activities would involved. My son also became really attached to Louise's children & felt very safe & cared for in his home. When he was younger on the way home he would initially cry & say he wanted to stay longer. Because we were about 400 miles away from immediate family in the North she naturally felt like an extension of our family. When it was my sons 2nd birthday party she came with her husband & my family were so keen to meet her as they had heard so many good news about her.
Our second child was born in 2020 2 weeks into Lockdown so it was quiet a hard time. I was also shielding & really concerned about what life would look like going forward. Louise was really understanding & catered to our needs & our new normal. She continued to keep in touch & my son loved the video calls. When my daughter was born & I was comfortable enough she came to our neighbourhood & we had a lovely walk & catchup. My daughter also became really attached to Louise & her family & would often shrug me off at the door & go to Louise. My daughter had not met many people in lockdown so that was a lovely suprise when she looked forward to being with her & spending time with "Weze" as she couldn't say her name, Louise.
Louise is so thoughtful when it comes to gifts for the children on their birthdays or christmas. She is very talented, skillful & creative when it comes to arts & crafts. Especially on days like mothers day, fathers day, valentines day, Easter or Christmas & the kids always had a card made for us on our birthdays.
We took the decision to move back up North after lockdown & be closer to family. One of the hardest decisions was having my children not be with Louise anymore. She sent us off with lovely, memorable gifts, picture frames which they still have in their bedrooms. Since moving back I have not had a childminder measure up to the standards of Louise & so my youngest is with her Grandma.
My son who started reception in September has the fondest of memories & still talks about her & told his teacher all about her in his first term in primary school especially when it came to storytime when he would tell her he has already read the books withbhis childminder. Also when they had playtime with toys he would tell the teaching assistant that his childminder has lots & lots of toys.
Louise is & will always be an extension of our family. Her knowledge of young children, their development & the EYS is absolutely outstanding. Even though we have moved up now for about 8 months I still have work colleagues and friends asking me for her contact number. My husband always said she is just naturally gifted with children.
I am and will always be so grateful for the time she spent with my children. The preparation she gave my son who was quiet shy at the time into a little confident boy to be ready for primary school. The love, nuturing & care she gave both my son and daughter is simply outstanding.
We look forward to seeing her when we next visit down south. Hopefully sometime in the summer. I wish every town had a childminder like Louise.

I highly recommend Louise. My daughter has been attending her setting for 2 years and she has received the best care I could wish for her. Louise was always providing new, fun activities, crafts and outings but there were also the routines that children need at this age. I watched my daugter growing and developing her confidence every day. I will be forever grateful for all the care and love Louise gave to my daugter ♥️

Our son Jayden has been attending Louise’s setting for almost 4 years and our son Jamie for 1 year.
In that time we have been grateful for the thoughtful and dynamic childcare provided by Louise and her ability to work closely with us as parents to provide our sons with the best care possible.
We feel completely confident that when in her care ours sons are well looked after and treated with the same care that they would be at home, which we are forever grateful for.
Louise has very high standards around respect for others, celebrating difference and having fun, all of which makes Louise’s house a happy place to be.
Our sons are so happy there and really love Louise. I have been impressed by the variety of toys that Louise has to offer them. Louise provides them with good educational play which is both appropriate for their age group and stimulating for their development.
While they are pleased to see me at the end of the day they are never desperate to go home and always arrives at Louise’s with a smile.
Whenever I have visited Louise’s, I’ve seen all the children happily and safely engaged. I know she really loves the children in her care and it makes her very special.
I highly recommend Louise as a childminder. I know your children would love her as much as mine have and that you will never be disappointed in her services.

Louise has been childminding both my daughters from the age of one year. She is trained to create a stimulating environment for my children to enjoy and thrive in from when they were little till now. Louise also provides toys and activities suitable for children of all ages with the oldest child that she looks after been 9 years. She has also completed courses to extend her skills and works to national standards which helps to promote a consistent quality of care in what she does.
Louise has completed first aid training and a course that covers topics such as child nutrition, food hygiene and health and safety and these shows in the way she keeps her house which is one of the reasons why we preferred Louise to other childminders.
Most of all Louise has been committed to all aspects of my children emotional, social and intellectual development. When on visit to her house there is always plenty of activities going on and lots of toys and books around the house. My children always have lots to talk about when they come home from Louise, what they have learnt and always bring artwork they have done themselves. This was to a point that I decided to leave them with Louise when they were at the stage of joining nursery school. It was a big decision but the quality of work Louise was providing for my children was better than most nursery schools which also included a one to one interaction.
My children have plenty of experience for both indoor and outdoor play. Louise’s weekly timetable includes outdoor activities in different places ranging from animal farms to the zoo, mother and toddler groups and many other places depending on the season. My children are also physically stimulated in different ways such as playing in parks and indoor sports activities around Kent.
Being a student my day starts quite early and have managed to be on time for lectures due to Louise’s flexibility in her start and finish times.
My children have thrived in all aspects under the care of Louise they love and enjoy going to her house and I couldn’t have asked for a better childminder Louise is an excellent childminder and cannot recommend Louise enough.
