About Us
The school was initially purchased by the community. The top floors and basement are used for school and ground floor is used for the mosque. Having passed the development phase students were enrolled in September 2000 to study the Tahfeez course (memorizing the Holy Qur’aan). These students are of secondary school ages who are also studying for their GCSE’s. InshaAllah, every student who attends our school is expected to strive towards spiritual, moral, social, cultural and academic excellence. We believe that Almighty Allah intends for students to preserve and perfect their spiritual and moral character with Islamic education that is based upon the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
With Allah's blessing and our pure intentions, the teachers of Mazahirul Uloom will provide a well-rounded education to our students both academically following closely to the National Curriculum and Islamic Curriculum, InshaAllah.
Our Childcare Provision
Our intention is to teach our students how to be good Muslims and law abiding British citizens. Our students are taught to strive for excellence in their Islamic and academic studies.
The purpose of our school is to provide Islamic and academic education to our students in an Islamic environment. To set the foundation for the building of an Islamic personality; to understand and practice the fundamental British values, to provide students with the highest standards of education which will enable them to develop their self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence, to distinguish right from wrong and to respect the civil and criminal law of England, to encourage students to accept responsibility for their behaviour, show initiative and understanding how they can contribute to their own, local and wider community life, to provide them with a broad general knowledge of public institutions and services and assist students to acquire and appreciation of and respect for their own and other cultures in a way that promotes tolerance and harmony between different cultural traditions which will help them to become responsible and productive citizens who will confidently meet the challenges of the futures.
InshaAllah, our intention is to illuminate the minds of our students with spiritual, moral, social and cultural knowledge that motivates them to love Allah, His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him), themselves, and all the humanity. Ameen.
