About Me
Hello. I am a down to earth, fun and loving mother and teacher, who is dedicated and always strives to bring out the best in children.
I am relaxed in my approach to learning and enjoy facilitating learning through play.
I am a primary school teacher of 15 + years with experience in Early Years, KS 1 and 2 ( 3-11 year olds). I have 5 + years of Nanny experience. I also have three of my own with newborns.
I work three days a week Wed-Fri at a local primary school and I love it.
I am a mother of three (a 9 year old girl, a 5 year old boy and baby girl, who is now 2 ).
I love watching children thrive when they develop and understand the world around them through fun and exciting activities and experiences, both indoors and outdoors.
I live in the E1 area, a 10 minute walk to Stepney Green, Mile End, Limehouse DLR stations, within 15 minutes reach of Canary Wharf by transport.
If you prefer to have your bundle of joy at mine then that is fine! Snacks included. I am also able to complete home learning from school with the children.
I have an open plan set up (ground floor),with a large living space, a patio garden and an outdoor gated communal park area, with playground equipment, all safe and secure.
The children enjoy the outdoors throughout the seasons.
My Experience
I am an energetic and hands on mum to my three lovely children and an auntie who loves being around nephews and nieces. I am actively involved in helping and supporting their learning and continue to take an interest in their education from early years through to university.
Previous Nanny experience:
I have finished my assignment of 3+ years of nannying a 7 year old boy. I also supported him with learning to read and write and completing homework on a daily basis.
A 5 year old ( 2 year assignment), I did school pick ups, I organised trips and activities, supported with extra booster sessions for reading and writing, as well as helping with homework.
I also tutor kS1/2 children and teach to the British National Curriculum. I have sound knowlege of the year one phonics screening test, KS1/2 SATs. Year 4 multiplication too!
I have sound knowlege teaching Read Write inc, Letters and sounds and Jolly Phonics. Supporting children in reading and writing is my passion.
When facilitating reading, it is most importang to develop the children’s auracy and oral skills; to be able to understand and take meaning from text using inference skills (referring to text to take meaning). I believe these skills are important in creating a successful all- round learner.

BA ( Hons) Criminology
Experience with children in Early Years and KS1/2
Fully Covid 19 vaccinated
Exp in 11plus test preparation

Due to current Covid19 pandemic I will be offering online tuition too.
I work at a local Primary school Mon-Thursday hence why I am available on Fridays -Sundays 8.30am-7pm
