Newland St John's Church of England Academy is an academy converter school in Hull.
About Us
Newland St John’s is part of Sentamu Academy Learning Trust (SALT), a group of schools working together to improve outcomes for children, under the oversight of the Diocese of York Educational Trust.
At our academy, children come first, and we do all that we can to help them to meet their full potential. We have a firm focus on developing children's basic skills, and do this in the context of an exciting, thematic curriculum. Our strong staff team provides a learning environment where children make good progress and have high standard of behaviour.
As a Church of England academy our Christian ethos underpins all that we do, and we enjoy close links with St. John's Church.

Our Childcare Provision
BREAKFAST CLUB
8am - 8.50am with all children having a breakfast and being registered prior to 8.30am
OUR SCHOOL DAY
All pupils are in school from 8.50am until 3.15pm
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
A variety of after school clubs run from 3.15pm - 4.30pm each day. Please refer to our website for details of the clubs running this term.
NURSERY AGE PROVISION - ST. JOHN'S PRE-SCHOOL
St. John's Pre-School is situated within our school grounds and provides child care for a maximum of 23 children aged 3-5 years old. They have OFSTED registration and are a Charitable Trust.
Opening Hours - 5 mornings a week from 8.50am-11.50am (sessional day care).
