Swiss Gardens Primary School is situated in the heart of Shoreham By Sea, an historic town that serves as a wealth of resources to the school with river, airport, railway, port, shops, park and sea, all being close to hand.
At Swiss Gardens Primary School, we pride ourselves in our approach to building a sense of community and we have a set of coherent values that the children respect and adhere to. In essence, Swiss Gardens Values are British Values.
FREE - Freedom, Respect, Excellence and Enjoyment is our school motto and the children understand, participate in and fully endorse the expectations that run alongside our motto.
Each year the children decide upon their own class rules. The children take part in class and year group team building activities to ensure that they have a sense of pride in their class identity. Each class has its own distinctive character which is celebrated and there is a sense of mutual respect whilst being mildly competitive.
Our Childcare Provision
Swiss Gardens Primary School offer an After School Provision through an external agency "Class of Their Own" which runs term times and covers some of the school holidays. In addition, Swiss Gardens run in-house afterschool clubs: Rounders, Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Construction Club, Cricket, Code Club and Comic Club. We also offer Street Dance, Netball, Football, Spanish, French, Cooking and Outdoors club, provided by external agencies.
