My Experience

I am currently working as a midwife at macc hospital but I have plenty of past experience caring for little ones from birth onwards. I have been raised in the home of an ofsted registered childminder so I have a deep understanding of the care needs of children aged between 1 and 11 years old. I have worked closely with many of these children including supporting in activities, breakfast and dinner and school runs. I have also babysat many of them in the evenings including dinner, bath and bed time and would be comfortable with caring for up to three children at once. Beyond this, I have been closely involved with the raising of my nephews and nieces (5 under 4!). I’m available for ad hoc and emergency babysitting, and am also happy to help around the house.

- First Aid trained
- Trained in infant feeding (BFI accredited)
- Breastfeeding and general postnatal support
- Experience with complex care including PEG feeding, epilepsy, diabetes, colostomy care, catheter care, cerebral palsy care, moving and handling (including use of hoists), autism, Down syndrome and more.
