Hello!
I am Rubee, a Psychology graduate, with experience in child care and education. I hope to find a family to support. I love to cook and bake, and as long as it’s safe I love to get the kiddies involved! I have a passion for all types of arts, with lots of ideas to get young minds flowing. I can provide educational activities, and I love outings to museums! I encourage sensory play through baking activities as well as getting stuck in with gardening. My experience as a play buddy allows me to understand that all children are unique in their creative exploration.
I am happy to help with household tasks if required.
My Experience
I have worked in a family club in St John’s Wood’s as a craft curator and play buddy. I worked with children aged 1-8, designing new and engaging crafts and activities to need them busy throughout the day. My experience with younger children comes from my work in a nursery, looking after babies under 2. I have also worked as a private nanny for children 1-10 years old. I have experience working as a support staff/teaching assistant in a range of primary schools. I have worked as an educational nanny to a 3 year old, and a childminder of a 22 month old. I have experience with older children as well. I also currently work within schools as a TA.
My Qualifications
Recently graduated Psychology, first class.
3 A-levels, GCSE’s educated.
Studied in San Francisco, with child and adolescent based university modules.
Several children based trainings and courses completed, such as:
Safeguarding and Child Protection
Distressed Behaviours in children
Counselling skills
Bereavement in children.
