About Me
I have qualified teacher status, with a distinction in primary education. I hold a BA in English and comparative literature, and have experience working with children with ASD.
My tutoring style is based around building nurturing and appropriate relationships with my students. It is my experience that children who feel safe, nurtured, and listened to are more likely to have successful learning experiences.
Teaching time is usually 1 hour, however I like to spend an extra 15 minutes with my students, split between ice breaking games, rapport building, and scheduled structured movement or brain breaks during the session.
I do not simply deliver the curriculum, I take a holistic approach, meeting your child at their level of understanding, and developing their attitude towards learning and independent critical thinking. One size does not fit all, and the development of problem solving skills, or strategic mathematical thinking is an ability that will continue to serve a child through their education journey.

Pre school dance teacher- teaching motor skills, socialisation, coordination, counting in french and spanish and english, ribbon dancing, developing rhythm and learning about directions.
Project support in a therapuetic care setting for young people with complex emotional needs.
Teacher training placements in SEN schools.
Teacher in an SEN school for children with autism spectrum disorder, and PMLD (profound multiple learning disabilities).
Registered tutor with Prospero teaching.
Paediatric first aid trained.
Full DBS.
