About Me
I am registered adult nurse, with a masters degree in specialist community public health nursing (SCPHN), with a primary focus on family health, with additional training in 0 - 5 years.
I am looking to offer support to a family I will be happy to assist with a wide range of different topics, examples being prenatal care and support, post natal support, such as breastfeeding ,bottle feeding, sleep training, working towards mile stones, weaning.
I am also available to do the occasional babysitting for a lower hourly rate and have the additional knowledge for caring for a child with type 1 diabetes as my daughter is also a type 1 warrior.
I am a huge kid at heart and love being with my children attending groups, exploring nature, making up games, songs and dances and it would be a pleasure to have your child join us on our adventures.
My Experience
As well as my degree at level 6 and masters at level 7, I hold numerous specialised certificates to support the delivery of care such as being fully accredited with The Baby Friendly Initiative to support mothers with evidence based information in breast feeding and Brazelton, Newborn Behavioural Observations (NBO). I have 5 years of clinical experience working as a health visitor.
Before becoming a nurse I worked as a teacher assistant in a special needs school and have experience with nonverbal children,Autism and ADHD.
My passion is assisting families into the new dynamics of family life.

BSc Adult Nursing - First Class Honours
MSc Specialist Community Public Health Nurse - Merit
I have an active Public Liability Insurance, I am up to date with my first aid training and have a current enhanced DBS
