About Me
Hi! My name is Carmen, I’m 20 years old and I’m a native Spaniard from Madrid, attending the University Glasgow studying music with social and public policy. I’m currently in my second year. I would say I’m very easy going yet responsible, cheery, and always ready to take on a challenge. In my free time, I love playing the piano, reading, and spending time exploring Scotland and other countries with my friends and family. I absolutely love working with children and I have a lot of experience. Even though Spanish is my mother tongue I’m fluent in English.
My Experience
I have worked with children of all ages at several summer and half-term camps, and as a private tutor, nanny and babysitter in Spain for the past 4 years. In Scotland, I am a mentor for a charity called Citywise. Citywise is a mentoring charity, which works with primary schools and local authorities helping children with learning/ behavioural difficulties, and children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Citywise hold camps during the school holidays and I took part in an Easter camp this year. I loved working with the children there. I have a pvg, and I’m very happy to provide references.
My Qualifications
The exam system is completely different is Spain so it’s probably not useful to include them, but my grades were good enough to get me a place at the University of Glasgow!
My Availability
I’m free in the afternoons and evenings on most weekdays, and Sundays for the full day.I’m also occasionally available on Saturdays.
