About Me
I am a fun, responsible and caring student teacher. I am currently going to University of Glasgow to complete my PGDE in primary teaching.
My Experience
I have worked with children ever since I was 17. I have been all over the world to run kids clubs and I have just returned from teaching in Taiwan for four years. I taught 6-16 year olds so I am comfortable with a wide range of ages. I was in charge of around 60 students and I was able to help them feel confident, secure and independent. I am very happy to help with: homework, housework and I am a very healthy and varied cook. I have experience with special needs children too, such as :ADHD, emotional instability, autism, dyslexia and Aspergers and I am able to have a lot of patience with them and help them achieve their potential. In addition to being a classroom teacher I was also a tutor so I am very capable of creating an individual learning plan suited to the needs to the student which will help them grasp concepts that are difficult for them in a fun way!
I am able to form trusted and quick bonds with children and I love to help them be creative, curious about the world around them and have fun! Also, whilst I was in Taiwan I was trusted by a Taiwanese lady to take care of her child for the 4 days that she was in hospital giving birth so I am able to do long stretches of childcare at a time.
My Qualifications
I have a 2:1 Master of Arts from Glasgow University
I am part of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.
I have a TEFL qualification.

I am available to take care of children on weekend and evenings. I may be able to do after schools on some days depending on
