My Experience

I have worked in childcare for over 16 years & I am now a mother myself. I worked in a nursery setting for 5 years before leaving to become a nanny. I have worked with children of all ages from 2 weeks old up to 13 years old.
When I was at the nursery, I started in the nursery school room which is from ages 3 - 4 years. I then moved into the 'ones unit'. This was with children between the ages of 8 months - 16 months. I was then moved into the toddlers setting with children between the ages of 18 months - 2 years old. I then moved into the preschool room with children between the ages of 2-3 years. I was the room leader of both the toddler room & the pre school room. After 5 years I left to become a nanny.

I nannied for 7 years in various locations including London, Germany and Luxembourg. After having my daughter in 2022, I decided to go back into a nursery setting as a Deputy Manager and have been there since. I am relocating from Bracknell to Thatcham soon, and with my daughter starting school, I am looking for a new role which will be closer to me.

With all my nannying roles, I arranged regular play dates, trips to the park, we also go to music groups, soft play, swimming, arts & crafts & lots more. I cook meals & ensure they have a healthy balanced diet.

My Qualifications

I have an NVQ level 2 in childcare & also a level 3 diploma in childcare. I achieved both these qualifications while working full time at a nursery. I also have a DBS, my own car, business insurance for my car, clean driving licence & an up to date first aid certificate. References available on request. I also have a level 2 & level 3 qualification in counselling skills for working with children.

• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
