Hello to all Families. I am currently looking for part time work. I need to find my next lovely family as soon as possible. I need to work 30/35hours per week. I am easy going, bubbly, hands on, get stuck in and like to have fun with the children.
I am from South African and married to my husband Darren for 15 years. . We bought our house 10 years ago in Stevenage. We have a small dog (yorkie) called Trinny and a cat called Annia.
I used to have my own franchise business called Jo Jingles which is musical classes for children for the last 4.5 years but sadly had to close half and sold the other half in November 2014. I like to read, do arts/crafts, cross stitching, paint, build puzzles when I find the time and go to the cinema. I have just started going to the gym to loose some weight and get fitter!
I know its very important trying to find the right person to look after your child so I would like you to know I am trustworthy and reliable. Children are a huge blessing and what we teach them every day makes a huge difference to their upbringing. I like to teach them positive things in life, have fun and enjoy themselves!

My Experience
I have been running my own franchise called Jo Jingles for 4.5 years which was musical classes for children 0-5 years.
I worked in Rome as a Nanny / Au-pair for 5 years and also did some teaching too. I worked for 2 families: 1st family was with 2 boys aged 5 & 8 years old. I lived with them for 6 months. 2nd family was with 1 little girl aged 6 (until she was 9). I lived /worked with them for 3 years. I travelled Europe during my time living in Rome. Its a beautiful country, lovely culture and a great place to live.
UK work: I have also worked in Childcare Nurseries.
3rd family: French family: 2 boys for 3 months but then they moved back to Paris.
4th Family: 1 single mum with 2 children, 1 boy & 1 girl worked with them for 3 months but then bought my business.
5th Family: After school nanny with 2 children: 1 boy 10 & girl 7. Stayed with them for 1 year 2 months but need more hours.
I have always grown up with children all my life in South Africa and helped my mom raise my 2 younger brothers. I love being with children as they are a true blessing.
My Qualifications

I have a Level 3 qualification.
I am CRB / DBSchecked in South Africa and the UK, all are clear with no issues/problems.
Got first aid
Drivers license and own car
I’m Covid vaccinated
My Availability
I do understand all families have different needs and /or routines so please do call me to discuss your requirements as I could be a little flexible.
I can offer some babysitting on an odd night or 2 as the Parents also need some "time-out" as long as it is planned in advance with some notice period.
