About Us

Beach Buddies Childcare is a small home-style childcare setting in Braunton. We have created a homely and loving environment on a non domestic setting. We are able to care for babies and children from 3 months to 5 years.

We have a lovely spacious garden with lots of different playing areas and we are often out and about with the children, be it at the beach, woods or park.
We have a dedicated baby room which we call the nurture room, this is for the 0-2 year old's. It's bright and soft and homely. The baby room also has it's own access to the garden which is wonderful in all weather's!

The Seashore room is our 2-5's room which has plenty of room and resources that can be freely accessed by the children. We spend a lot of our time outside in the garden to extend our children's learning with guttering for water play, a mud kitchen, many slides and ride on toys and our new addition; The super hero shed! Children can learn and develop if not more in an outdoor environment than an in-door environment. There is a separate area for the Pre-school children aged 3-5 to do some more focussed activities and to experiment with maths and literacy alongside other aspects of the curriculum,

On a daily basis babies and young children are cared for in our nurturing environment. We are a small setting so all of our team know the children well and form good strong bonds.

We can provide home cooked fresh hot food for lunch which we all sit and eat together. All our menu's are focused on getting as many of the 5 a day fresh fruit and veg into our children and giving them a well balanced healthy diet. We make bread and desserts with the children too, which they enjoy with their daily meal.

We provide a range of snacks in the morning and afternoon and the children have access to drinks throughout the day.

We provide 2together and pre-school funding. We also accept childcare vouchers.
