About Me
I’m a psychologist and primary tutor with over 15 years’ experience, supporting children aged 4 to 11 with English, maths and SEND.
I tutor children aged 4 to 11 in phonics, reading, writing, comprehension and maths. I have particular experience with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and speech and language difficulties. I can also work towards EHCP and speech and language targets. Some children benefit from structure, while others learn better through play or hands-on activities. I use the approach that fits each child’s pace, attention and learning style.
I’m reliable, kind, and patient, and children usually settle quickly with me. Lessons can take place at my home or at the child’s home. I’m also mum to a six-year-old boy and speak English and Romanian.
My Experience
For over ten years, I worked as a Teaching Assistant and ABA Therapist at Hoe Bridge, Sythwood and Hoe Valley. My experience includes long-term one-to-one support, including helping a child from Year 1 through to Y8 in secondary school, alongside working with many other children with different neurodiversity profiles.
Over the years, I have completed extensive school-based training and worked closely with parents, SENCOs and other professionals. I also run Roots & Wings, supporting neurodivergent children and their families.
