Hi, my name is Sarah I am 45 years old and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder/Nanny
I and my family have been DBS checked and first aid trained. I have been married to Sunny for 26 years and we have 3 children, aged 23, 21 and 9. We have a dog called Grace who is a pug x Chihuahua and a Chihuahua called Buddy. We have had them both since they were 12 weeks old and they have grown up around babies and children and are very friendly. We live in Lordswood a. I also have a secured gated back garden with various play equipment.
I offer a warm, safe, stimulating and fun environment, which I aim to be a home from home environment for every child in my care, where every child can learn and develop and are able to thrive. I have a wide variety of toys, books, crafts and play equipment and attend childminding and home ed groups, workshops etc. I also take the children out on regular outings to local parks, libraries, country parks, farming world, zoo's, seaside trips, museums and lots more. We love outdoor exploring and nature.
I currently home educate my son and have availability for home educated children. I provide a daily journal for each child in my care so that I can share information about the child's day and what they have been doing. I encourage parents to also use the journal to record any information they feel is relevant to me such as a change to the child's routine or something new the child likes etc. so as to provide consistency of care for every child.

My Experience
I have over 20 years experience in working with children of all ages, both as a registered childminder, nanny and as a nursery nurse, I also took some time out to tutor and mentor students in childcare and playwork for Key Training and Medway Council.
I am also a parent to my own 3 children who are 23, 21 and 9
