About Me

**MARCH 2026 UPDATE**

Hello, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.

I am currently looking for a 1/2 nanny position and would love to chat further if you feel I might be a good fit for your family. My main availability is Mondays and Fridays, although I can often offer other days in the week to work around my other part-time role, which I know my schedule for around six months in advance. Some weeks I can also offer additional days.

I am ideally looking for 1/2 days around 8–12 hours per day: This could be wrap around care (must be Bfor & after school) for two days and additional days between Tuesday and Thursday when possible/availability (known in advance) and full days on the holidays or 1/2+ full days.
I am looking for an employed role (I am unable to be SE at the moment)

My nannying rate is slightly flexible, so please do feel free to message me if you think we might be a good match.

I am always happy to answer any questions you may have.

I genuinely love caring for children and supporting families. I am caring, reliable, fun, enthusiastic, and believe in being firm but fair. I am also happy to help with light housekeeping, family errands, or shopping, alongside anything relating to the children.

I’m also open to the occasional evening or weekend babysitting. I am very happy to meet for an interview and have excellent references available on request. I look forward to hearing from you.

My Experience

I have over 26 years of experience working with babies, children and young people from newborn through to 18 years old, including twins and children with special educational needs. I particularly enjoy caring for babies and younger children, although I am very happy to support families with older siblings too, for me it’s all about finding the right fit.

Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of childcare roles including Class and Nursery Assistant, Soft Play and Party Organiser, Junior Matron, Senior House Matron, Mother’s Help, Nanny Housekeeper, Sole Charge Nanny and SEND Nanny.

My experience includes caring for twins, premature babies and children with additional needs. Working with families over the years has given me a wide range of practical experience and confidence in many different situations. I am also a very good cook and always happy to prepare healthy meals for the children.

I hold an enhanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid and Ofsted registration, which means families can use the Tax-Free Childcare scheme when employing me as a nanny (as nannies do not offer the free funded hours) and I also have a driving licence, a car with business insurance and my own car seats and pushchairs.

My Fees

  • Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
  • Babysitting from £16.00 per hour

My Nanny day rates are £20 Gross (maximum 3 children)
If Special Needs + £2 extra
Evening babysitting is £16 net

Sleep Consultant: £28 per hour (Not overnight)

Daytime nanny rate may have slight negotiation but depends on the role itself - This will be discussed and agreed before contract is signed.

Weekend work is negotiable with advanced notice
