About Me

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
I currently work as a Learning Support Assistant in a junior school in Chesham (I have previously worked as a Full-Time Nanny) and am looking for an after-school nanny position, along with holiday childcare and occasional babysitting.
What I'm looking for:
- Start date: September
- Minimum of 3 afternoons per week, ideally Monday to Thursday (Friday can be considered for the right family)
- Hours: From approximately 3:30/4:00pm onwards (depending on school pick-up location) until 6:00/7:00pm
- Areas: Chesham, Amersham, Tring, Berkhamsted, Wendover, Aston Clinton and surrounding areas.
I also have some availability during the school holidays between now and September if you need holiday childcare. Other holidays will also be available throughout 26/27.
In addition to after-school care, I can also offer:
- Holiday childcare
- Evening babysitting
- Later finishes when/if required

My rates are slightly flexible depending on the role and hours.
I genuinely love caring for children and supporting families. I am caring, reliable, fun and enthusiastic, while also believing in being firm, fair and consistent. I'm happy to help with light child-related housekeeping, family errands and shopping where needed.
I am a fully insured driver with my own car and business insurance. I also have a range of child car seats and both a single and double buggy available for use when needed.
I'm always happy to answer any questions, arrange an informal chat or meet in person. I have excellent references available and will bring when we meet in person and would love to hear from you.

My Experience
I have over 26 years of experience working with babies, children and young people from newborn through to 18 years old, including twins and children with special educational needs. I particularly enjoy caring for babies and younger children, although I am very happy to support families with older siblings too, for me it’s all about finding the right fit.
Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of childcare roles including Class and Nursery Assistant, Soft Play and Party Organiser, Junior Matron, Senior House Matron, Mother’s Help, Nanny Housekeeper, Sole Charge Nanny, SEND Nanny and now. Learning Support Assistant.
My experience includes caring for twins, premature babies and children with additional needs. Working with families over the years has given me a wide range of practical experience and confidence in many different situations. I am also a very good cook and always happy to prepare healthy meals for the children.
I hold an enhanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid and Ofsted registration, which means families can use the Tax-Free Childcare scheme when employing me as a nanny (as nannies do not offer the free funded hours) and I also have a driving licence, a car with business insurance and my own car seats and pushchairs.

**SUMMER HOLIDAYS AVAILABILITY**
I have some availability, please message me to find out what dates are available.
Available to start: September 2026
* After School nanny from between 3:30/4pm (depending on pick up location) until 6/7pm
* Monday to Thursday - Friday on occasion.
* Evening babysitting available for later finish
* Holiday Childcare
Evening babysitting - minimum 4 hours Monday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday minimum 5 hours.
Overnights and Weekends are available at advanced notice (My fees are different, please drop me a message to find out more)
My Fees
- Nannying from £22.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £17.50 per hour
My Nanny day rates are £22 Gross (maximum 3 children) Slightly flexible within reason.
All depends on the family and the role itself..
Evening babysitting is £17 net
Sleep Consultant: £28 per hour (Not overnight)
Daytime nanny rate may have slight negotiation but depends on the role itself - This will be discussed and agreed before contract is signed.
Weekend work is negotiable with advanced notice
