Cherrytrees in Melrose

Welcome to our Melrose nursery which is set in a traditional stone built house in an old orchard at the foot of the Eildon Hills. All ages are able to enjoy our fantastic play garden with secure patio areas and we offer ample off road parking. This was our first Cherrytrees nursery, opening in August 2002 with only five children.

At Cherrytrees Melrose we welcome children from 6 weeks to 12 years, offering 81 full and part-time places. We are open from 7.00 a.m. – 7.00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

We encourage our children to have a sense of community spirit and feel that it is important for them to be able to participate in the local area and traditions.

Spending time out of doors with all age groups of children is an important part of our daily life. This can include walks to places such as Melrose Abbey, the Library, the foot of the Eildon Hills, along the banks of the River Tweed, trips to the local shops or walking back from school. We view these as important experiences for our children and precious opportunities for language and social development.
