My Experience

With over 23 years of experience as a nanny, I have developed a deep understanding of early years childcare and education. My role has allowed me to nurture children’s development while ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

I have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and recognise the importance of planning, delivering, and evaluating activities that support children’s learning and well-being.

Beyond my professional nannying roles, I have actively volunteered in early years settings, including nurseries, children’s centres, and home-learning programmes. These experiences have enhanced my ability to adapt to diverse family dynamics, collaborate with other early years professionals, and apply best practices in
child development.

I am emotionally resilient and able to maintain productivity in high-pressure situations, a crucial skill in childcare. My approach is patient, kind, and relationship-driven, fostering strong bonds with children, parents, and extended family members. I am highly adaptable and thrive in both structured and free-play settings,
balancing outdoor exploration and adventures with meaningful, enriching learning experiences indoors.

I hold a full, clean driving licence and own a car, allowing me to take children on outings and ensure reliable transportation.

• ‘Childhood’ course (FHEQ Level 5) – Open University (UK)

• A-levels – Slovak language and Literature, English, Maths, History

• CPD Courses – sleep training, safeguarding, equality and inclusion, food hygiene, emotional well-being, etc.
