About Me
I can offer flexible childcare in and around Hildenborough and Sevenoaks. Nannying, babysitting and tutoring are the main areas that I provide. I'm also happy to walk dogs :-)
I was a foster carer for many and am now a part time teaching assistant in a primary school. My children are aged ten and thirteen and I now have the time to offer my experience to other families.
I work at a local primary school for three mornings a week, starting at 9 o'clock so I have a lot of time to offer other families. Working in a school and having my own children means that I have lots of experience with children of varying ages, ranging from newborn to teenage.
I am dbs checked and have a first aid qualification. Having successfully put two children through the eleven plus, I am also skilled and teaching both key stage one and key stage two subjects, particularly maths and English.
We live in a bungalow in Hildenborough, with two gorgeous dogs and lots of guinea pigs who reside in our spacious garden. As an outdoors kind of family, we enjoy getting out and about, whilst the house and garden are full of things to do.
My Experience
Long before having children, I was a registered childminder and I may go down that route again.
Some years later, I became a short-term foster carer and enjoyed that for some years, until my own children came along.
When they were young, I worked in a creche and now I work in a primary school for twelve hours a week.
My Qualifications
Although I have A levels and attended university, my important qualification is my level three childcare and childhood studies.
I am of course first aid trained and I also have a tefl qualification.
My Availability
I work three mornings a week, from 9-1. These mornings are not set in stone, so I can be flexible.
I am happy to offer nannying, babysitting and tutoring.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
