Hello, I’m Sandy. I’m a 40-year-old nanny based in BS10 with 20 years of childcare experience. I specialise in newborn care, twins, and SEN support. I live locally with my 20-year-old son who is the best person I know.
I come from a big family with five sisters and a huge mix of nieces and nephews. I have been around babies and children all my life. This gives me a natural understanding of different personalities, family dynamics and what helps children feel safe, settled and happy.
Families describe me as calm, grounded and easy to be around. I bring a quiet confidence to the home, I pick up cues quickly and I create a warm, structured environment for children to relax and thrive in. I work well with first-time parents, tired parents and anyone who wants someone mature, steady and supportive in the house.

I’m now looking for a local nanny position - 16-25 hours per week. I’m available for full days/shifts rather than wraparound care.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Full-day roles preferred
Not offering wraparound school care

We’ve known Sandy for 10 months, whilst she cared for our 7 year old daughter.
She’s an incredibly Nanny who made such a positive impact in her role and our daughter loved their time together.
Sandy has many wonderful traits, she is hugely creative and resourceful in finding fun activities. She’s patient and kind, and helped our daughter to regain her confidence. Sandy is reliable and never let us down.
