About Me

I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder working from Hanham Community Centre on a Monday and Thursday.

I work alongside 2 other childminders, Amanda Durbin and Ruby Adams.

I have one space becoming available from September 2026.

I am fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS & I am Paediatric First Aid Trained.

I am registered to offer funded spaces and I am also able accept payments via the government tax free childcare scheme.

My Experience

I have been working with children since 2014 both as a Childminder and Nanny. During this time I have cared for children from 7months up until 13 years of age.

In addition I also have experience working within a Nursery, working with children from 6 months to 4 years of age.

Understand how to set up a Homebased Childcare Service - Pass
(Completed on 11th August 2011)
Level 2 & Level 3 Safeguarding
New Early Years Foundation Stage - 2012 - Pass

A fantastic Nanny to our daughter.

Laura was an amazing Nanny to our daughter who was 9 months old. We had previously tried to use a childminder but she had separation anxiety and struggled being away from us. We decided having someone in our home would be better. Laura was amazing. She learnt all about our daughter and made us all feel at ease. Our daughter settled with her really quickly. Laura taught her lots of amazing skills such as counting. She also took her to groups to ensure she socialised with other children. We would highly recommend Laura. Especially if your child struggles with separation anxiety.
