About Me
Hello, I’m a registered Good-rated Ofsted childminder based in North Duffield, providing a warm, welcoming home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy and valued.
As a mum to three children aged 19, 17 and 13, I understand how important it is to find childcare you can trust. I work alongside experienced assistants to provide high-quality care in a nurturing family setting.
We believe children learn best through play and exploration, which is why we spend most of our time outdoors all year round. Whether we’re exploring nature, visiting local parks, taking part in community activities or enjoying our garden, every day brings new opportunities for learning and fun.
Our setting is also home to a friendly dog and budgie, and children have opportunities to visit horses and chickens, helping them develop confidence, curiosity and a love of animals.
Outdoor adventures, happy children and learning through play is at the heart of everything we do.
My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, from babies through to school-aged children. I have extensive experience supporting children with SEND and pride myself on building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
I follow the EYFS framework to provide engaging, child-led learning experiences that support every child’s individual development. To further develop my knowledge and practice, I will be beginning my Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) in September.
We enjoy regular outings to parks, woodlands, farms, playgroups and local community activities, giving children a wide variety of exciting experiences. Throughout the year we create special memories by celebrating occasions such as Sports Day, Christmas Nativity performances, graduation ceremonies and seasonal celebrations, helping children build confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging.
I offer funded childcare places and accept Tax-Free Childcare, as well as providing school drop-offs and pick-ups for local families.
I am passionate about providing a caring, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can grow in confidence, develop independence and reach their full potential. I am proud to be highly recommended by parents for my caring, reliable and professional approach.
