I honestly couldn’t recommend Eliza enough! She is such a kind, caring and wonderful childminder who is absolutely amazing with my little girl. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she is in such safe, loving and nurturing hands.

Eliza takes the children on lots of lovely outings and adventures, giving them opportunities to explore, learn and experience new things. She also provides healthy, nutritious meals and snacks, which is so important to me. Her safeguarding is excellent, and I always feel confident that my little girl is safe, happy and well cared for.

It’s clear how much love, care and effort Eliza puts into what she does, and she truly goes above and beyond for the children in her care. Finding someone you can trust with your child is so important, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found her.

Thank you, Eliza, for everything you do. You are an absolutely fantastic childminder, and I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for someone caring, trustworthy and dedicated to their child’s happiness and development. ❤️

A Home Away From Home

We honestly couldn’t be happier with the care our daughter receives from Eliza. She has been with Eliza since she was nine months old and is now just over two, and they have built such a lovely, strong bond.

What really stands out to us is her energy and enthusiasm. She gets genuinely excited about the activities she plans and takes so much pride in our daughter’s achievements and successes. You can really see how much she enjoys what she does and how much she cares about the children in her care.

As parents, one of the most important things to us is feeling completely comfortable and confident when we leave our daughter, and we genuinely feel that way. We know she is safe, happy and well cared for. If she is having a difficult day, Eliza is incredibly good at soothing her, understanding what she needs and quickly redirecting her.

Communication is also excellent. We are kept updated throughout the day about what they have been doing and how our daughter is getting on, and any concerns or issues are communicated clearly and appropriately. We also really appreciate how approachable and easy to reach she is, even outside of her usual working hours when needed. We have always felt that we can speak to her about anything.

We love the variety of experiences she gives our daughter. They are out and about every day, visiting parks, playgrounds, playgroups, museums, aquariums and so many other places. She has even taken her to places such as the Spinnaker Tower and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

There is always something new and exciting for her to experience, and we feel this has contributed so much to her confidence, development and curiosity.

We also feel very reassured by the way safeguarding is handled. Any marks or concerns are communicated to us properly, and we have complete confidence that our daughter’s wellbeing and safety are always taken seriously.

Ultimately, we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. Our daughter clearly adores her, and we can see how happy and settled she is in her care. Knowing that we can leave our child with someone we trust completely is priceless, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent looking for a caring, enthusiastic and genuinely committed childminder.

Excellent Childminder

Eliza is excellent childminder. Our son was with her from age 2&1/2 and we always felt confident dropping him off that he would have a lovely day with her. Eliza would make sure everyday was different to one before. She would take the children to fun groups and days out to parks, the beach, libraries, museums, allotments and more. She was quick to contact us if ever she had concerns and sent photos of all the fun activities they had got up to. Eliza helped our son grow in confidence and social skills. Eliza provided filling meals and healthy snacks. Our son would always come out beaming with something arty he had made. Fantastic setting!

My daughter was with Eliza from ages 1-3 and absolutely loved being in her setting. Every day was so exciting, Eliza ensured a range of activities from soft play, library, getting the bus, outdoors and nature, crafts, reading and literacy. Eliza became part of the family. My daughter adores her. Eliza ensured my daughter was school ready. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful childminder

Our daughter has been with Eliza for over a year now and absolutely adores her. I was worried about going back to work but got such a good feeling when we visited Eliza and I honestly couldn't wish for a better childminder. She is very loving, reliable and tustworthy and puts so much thought and care into the spaces and activities she creates for the children.

My daughter does loads of creative arts and crafts activities with Eliza, often linked to a book or specific topic they are learning about that week. She plays guitar and sings with them, has made her home into a wonderful setting, with a reading area, space for sand and water play, a beautiful garden and other really thoughful spaces for play which she has built herself, like a little dinosaur world, and a wooden board of doors and locks and laces.

Every day when I drop my daughter off there is a carefully set up play space for the children, which is different every time. She also spends a lot of time outdoors, teaching them about nature and wildlife, and bringing natural materials back into the setting to use in creative activities. She cooks healthy fresh, homemade meals every day, lovely soups, polish dumplings, pasta, etc.

Eliza puts so much love and creativity into everything she does and we feel incredibly lucky to have her in our lives.

lovely setting

We loved the set up at Eliza’s home and whilst we have been unable to send our daughter to her, that was simply because Eliza was slightly too far from our home. But we loved what we saw - her set up was incredibly clean and looked very engaging and fun for the little ones. Eliza also had lovely garden for outdoor space, it was very well cared for and nicely enclosed and safe.

I can’t comment on the food but Eliza described the meals she prepared and they sounded excellent!

Overall, we were very impressed with what we saw!

Wonderful, loving childminder and excellent childc

We have started with Eliza and couldn't be more happier. She is a lovely woman, very loving, welcoming and warm with a great amount of knowledge and experience with small children. I can clearly see her passion when she is around the children in her care and is completely dedicated and focused on them. My little girl has been so happy, not even flinching when i say 'goodbye' which has been a great relief.

Eliza has transformed her house into a nursery, lots of toys, arts and crafts, games and colourful things in the walls. There are always exciting activities for my toddler to get stuck into and she has been very happy there so far. She never wants to leave!

Eliza has worked in childcare for many years and has a very professional manner which has been great to work with. We couldn't be happier with her and just so relieved to have found such a gem.
