Alongside raising my own three children, I have over 15 years of professional childcare experience caring for boys and girls from newborn through to 11 years old, from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and religions.

* Loading and unloading the dishwasher
* Tidying and organising children’s bedrooms and play areas
* Organising wardrobes, toys and children’s belongings
* General housekeeping and maintaining a clean, tidy home
* Changing bed linen
* Meal preparation
* Grocery shopping and errands if required
* Keeping kitchens and family areas clean and organised
* Helping with household organisation and daily routines

* Level 2 Home-Start Preparation Course (September 2009)

In September 2009, I successfully completed the Level 2 Home-Start Preparation Course, which is comparable to an NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Care and Education.

This specialist training, delivered by Home-Start Richmond, equipped me to provide practical and emotional support to families with young children. As a fully trained Home-Start volunteer, I developed knowledge and skills in:

* Child development and wellbeing
* Supporting parents and families
* Safeguarding and child protection
* Building positive relationships with children and parents
* Confidentiality and professional practice
* Providing practical support within the family home

I have also completed Safeguarding Children Training, ensuring I understand my responsibilities in recognising concerns, promoting children’s welfare and following appropriate safeguarding procedures.

I hold a current Enhanced DBS Certificate, giving families confidence that I have been appropriately vetted to work with children.

My Availability

Available from 24th August 2026.

I am available for part-time and ad hoc childcare (subject to availability).
