Hi, My name is Mandy Saunders. I am a Registered Childminder living on New Road, Rumney.
I am regularly inspected by the C.I.W. and a member of childcare.co.uk
I hold a current full Disclosing and Barring Service Certificate, Paediatric First Aid Certificate and have attended numerous childcare courses.
I live in Rumney with my husband, I have two grown up daughters.
I have looked after children for many years and have made life long friends with the families of the children i have cared for.
We are a really fun loving family who welcome children into a safe,home-like place whilst their parents are at work.
We can offer fun filled days of activities and outings. We have space for outdoor play and a large range of toys for all ages. I have a 7 seater vehicle so we are able to get out and about regularly.
I really do understand how apprehensive parents must feel when choosing the right care giver for their children and i am happy to discuss any concerns and fears that you may have.
I can assure you that by working closely together we can make sure that children's health and welfare needs will be met.

I was very nervous when looking for a childminder for my 6 month old baby Sam, but when we went to meet Mandy I instantly warmed to her and found that the house was a very warm and welcoming place. Sam was comfortable with her immediately and I knew that Mandy was the right person to take care of him while I was in work.
Mandy did lots of activities with Sam and he loved playing with the other children. Mandy is a natural with children and I feel goes out of her way to make the day as much fun as possible for all of the children.
I unfortunately left my employment so Sam could no longer go to Mandy's (and I know he misses her and Nan and the rest of the children lots) but I would without hesitation recommend her to anybody, and hopefully I will need her services again in the future.

My daughter Layla who is now 2 and a half, spent a year with Mandy, and she enjoyed every minute.
Mandy was an amazing childminder, who stimulated Layla with daily activities, including days out, and days spent at play areas, as well as providing a loving and caring environment.
I would highly recommend her as a childminder , and the only reason I changed my childcare arrangements was due to the fact that we moved down to West Wales.
Layla was always happy to be at Mandy's, and continues to talk about her. We will always keep in touch, and If you need any further information with regards to my review , please do not hesitate to contact me.

I was very nervous about finding someone who would be right for my daughter as she has some additional needs and is very wary of strangers. I instantly warmed to Mandy and my daughter did too.
Mandy treats each child as if they were part of her family. She as treated my daughter as an individual and nurtured her personality, likes and dislikes. Since starting my daughter's confidence and ability to communicate socially has grown a lot. Mandy also has a lot of respect for parents wishes and often sends my little girl home with artwork they have done together. If she is ever unsure about something with my daughter she will ask me. She has a natural ability with children but is also highly skilled and experienced.
I have full respect for Mandy as a warm caring person and an excellent childminder. I would not be happy with anything less having experienced how happy my daughter is there. Would reccommend Mandy to anyone.
