About Me
Hi My name is Donna.
I'm an Ofsted registered childminder with over 26 years experience at doing a job I absolutely love . I live with my husband Gary and we have 2 grown up children. Gary is also registered with Ofsted as my assistant, he is also qualified in up to date first aid training and safeguarding like myself . We make learning fun and this therefore encourages children to meet their Eyfs learning goals and be school ready when the time comes.
We provide a very welcoming and fun, home from home environment for children of all ages and stages of ability.
We have a lovely bright playroom full with lots of lovely toys to keep your little one entertained and to ensure we meet all their learning needs. We have a lovely safe and secure garden with various out side toys and plenty of space to run around and play .
We provide healthy home cooked meals and snacks daily for the children and can cater for most dietary needs.
We go out and about during the week to local toddler groups, parks and other childminders settings.
During our week we do lots of fun activities together such as arts and crafts, messy play, using different themes and topics that interest the children, baking, singing etc. all of which the children absolutely love.
We have 2 very friendly dogs who are fantastic with the children.
We have looked after some amazing children over the years ( and still do now) and worked with their lovely families and still keep in contact with most of them. We have looked after a wide range of ages from babies through to teenagers, also siblings from the same families which is really lovely to have that consistency of care for their family.
All children are welcomed in to our home and are treated as part of our family.
We have lots of amazing References available to look at from previous and current parents from over the years .
On my last Ofsted inspection just recently I was graded "Good".
We are registered for the 9 mth, 2 and 3/4 year old funding and also accept tax free childcare.

My Availability
We have before and after school places Available for Tudor court primary, Monday -Thursday from the new year ( Jan 26)
We are available Monday to Thursday from 7.30am -5.30pm Term times.
Our local school run is Tudor court primary in Chafford Hundred.
We offer full/part time and before and after school contracts. We also offer term time only contracts, which is perfect for teachers or anyone just needing term times (with no retainer fee during the school holidays).

My girls always felt very relaxed going to Donna and Gary’s house. They would always go in with a smile in the morning - their fondest memories are playing games in the garden, going on little outings to soft play centres and stopping off at the park on their way home from school. Communication was always excellent. I appreciate how Donna would keep me updated - it was always so lovely receiving photos of the girls and seeing the fun activities that Donna had set up for them to enjoy. The girls would often come out at the end of the day with bits of art and craft they had made. As a parent, I always felt very happy knowing my children were being well cared for. Overall, I would highly recommend Donna Day Care to any parent looking for a caring, home from home environment for their child.

My twin boys have been with Donna for just shy of a year and they have had the absolute best time with her. Her name is one of the first words they said which goes to show the love they have for her! Donna and Gary are a brilliant team, and really show their love and commitment to your children. We couldnt have asked for a better childminder to help us all ease into their first year of childcare. I really couldnt recommend them enough. Absolutely superb. Thank you for being amazing 👏🏻

My son absolutely loved going to Donna's, he always looked forward to Donna and Gary picking him up from school. Setting wise, we felt he was in a safe environment home away from away. It was clean and comfortable environment for kids.
Communication was always clear.
Due to change of circumstances we have taken my son out but should our circumstances change again in the future we would not hesitate to go back to using Donna's service again.
