About Me
Hello, my name is Kathy Stockdale, a registered childminder, running my childcare business 'Little Treasures' in Hellaby. I have over 30 years childcare experience being the mother of three children, who are now grown up and married. I live with my husband, Dave, in a little cul de sac in Hellaby, Rotherham, just off the M18.
As a childminder, I aim to provide a warm, nurturing and homely environment for the children I care for, in a high quality setting.
I have a spacious home with a fully enclosed garden with provisions for indoor and outdoor play. I live within easy walking distance of the local park, community hall and several indoor play areas.
There are open fields to the rear of my home, ideal for nature walks.
My aim is to provide a flexible childcare service which can be adapted to suit individual needs.
Term time only contracts for pre schoolers are welcome.
Ofsted inspection May 2022 - Graded Good.

My Experience
I have over 30 years experience in child care. I am the mother of three children, and a grandmother. As well as bringing up my own children, I have babysat and cared for my granddaughter, grandson, nephews, nieces and also friends' children.
I have undertaken training including Paediatric First Aid, SENco, Autism, Positive Behaviour Strategies, Baby Weaning and I have completed the EYFS Pre-registration Course.

My Availability
I am open Monday to Friday 7:30 to 17:30 hours but can be flexible and these hours can be adapted to meet parents needs. Please feel free to discuss your requirements with me.
Free Early Education funded places are available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

My son has been with Kathy since being 1 year old, he is now 2 and a half, i cant put into words how amazing Kathy is, she is like his second Mummy, Charlie loves her to pieces. Kathy goes above and beyond and i cannot thank her enough for the progress Charlie has made in the last 18 month, Charlie is a happy confident little boy with very good manners and he is very bright for his age, he know all his colours and number and even the alphabet thanks to Kathy and Dave. Cannot praise them enough!!!

If I could award more than 5 stars Kathy would defiantly get all the stars in the world. My 2 girls have been with Kathy now around 6 months and since the very first day Kathy has been amazing in every way. She goes the extra mile not only for the kids but also the parents too. The service she provides is like home from home always activities available for the kids whether it be at her home or out and about. In my own girls words "Kathy isn't like our childminder mummy she's like our 2nd mum" that statement from an 8 year old and a 5 year old speaks volumes. I couldn't recommend Kathy highly enough she's everything a childminder should be xx
